One of the things I try not to get into is have bad credit. However, times are hard these days and it is easy to get involved in debt and not be able to pay. There is a site though that helps one get back to his feet financially. Instead of just accepting whatever is first offered, you can compare listings online at badcreditoffers.com and if you can pay bills on time, you miht just get back your good credit standing. You can browse offers on credit repair too.

Friends have been investing their money in getting life insurance plans lately. We really are changing - from being carefree to being responsible. Bonuses now get sent straight to the bank instead of being spent at the mall right away. We need to think about our future, we are not getting any younger. Most of my officemates who are married even availed of home insurance and car insurance for their belongings. We will never know right? It is better to be safe than sorry - and we are just making sure that whatever happens, our loved ones who will get left behind are taken cared of.

Anyone know of one - within Manila and is happening between next week and the 31st? We are scouting for parties (trick or treat or shows) to take the kids to and so far we are partial to the Nickelodeon party at Mall of Asia on the 31st. However, since it is going to be on the 31st, traffic maybe bad and we might be coming from Amadeo so it can get a little tricky. I just like the idea of trick or treating and few magic shows for Matthew (he loves those) and then we can go home. I dont care about costume contests because for me the kids are the cutest anyways, LOL.

Let me know!

With the holidays looming nearer, so is the need to find for more ways to be able to save and still be able to give gifts for loved one this Christmas. That is what Im always on the hunt for good coupons online. I am looking for coupons from ShoeBuy because I really want to buy shoes (Crocs) specifically for us - the family and it would be better if I had coupons, even to cover for shipping. Plus, my Mom wants me to look for Kohl’s coupons because she is planning to buy something there to give as a gift.

So October is already mid-month and we now need to start planning for the holidays. Me, my main goal would be to lose weight. I have gained so much that it is not health anymore. My back is killing me most of the time and every step I make hurts already. I really need to focus on that. Im also planning the food and the clothes we will be using for Christmas - we have annual photoshoots so I need to get started on that.

Who doesn’t love music? We all do. I cannot imagine life without music - it conveys emotions, lets me communicate more effectively and just plain gives energy and emotion to my life. I’m also very open minded about music genres - you can make me listen to anything except heavy rock! Now, if you also are like who likes eclectic music, you will this new site very interesting. Algeka is a new web for emerging music videos! It takes the idea from The American Idol contest, where unsigned singer-songrwriters can upload their music videos for perople to see and vote on. It gives music fans the power to decide who would be the next music star! So you can see it is partly a singing competition as well.

It accepts music upload from anywhere around the world - your song just need to original, you are not a contract song artist yet and your video doesnt run longer than five munites. You can get paid too! Twenty percent of the proceeds of your music videos are given to you!

I really like this artist - julianazhao’s seek you under the stars - I like her style, the beat of her composition and her over-all screen presence.

This girl has presence and promise!

Interested? You need to have these four things (in addition to talent and passion for music, of course!)
1. Music Video - needs to be high quality, no instrumental only pieces. Solo artists only too.
2. A photo of yourself.
3. Lyrics of your song to check that what you wrote doesnt violate any copyright information.
4. Contact Information for payment purposes of royalty checks ;)

Zen Habits: How to be Productive

I can say Im OC but Im clearly unorganized and such a crammer. I procastinate often and waste precious hours at work everyday. I hope I can really kick the habit out of my system already.

I read that writing down everything helps and to be specific. Not just specific to-do lists but to-do lists which are like orders for my self. For example:
no surfing until 12NN (at work)
finish 15 sessions by 12NN

That would clear, definite, and realistic, right?

When I was studying nursing, when we do our nursing plans, we need to have it by these SMART.
S- specific
M- measurable
A- agreed upon
R- realistic
T- timetable

These are qualifications I need to set my goals with. Hmm, be back later.

Our sink has been in dire need of new tiles. Now that we have the budget for it, the hunt is one for the best ceramic tile yet! I want it to be stylish yet functional and most of all, durable. So you can see why I’m very particular about the company I order the tiles from. Anchor Bay Tiles just fit the bill. They have a varied selection of tiles to choose from - ceramic, glass, metal - in all shapes, sizes and colors. I chose ceramic because that is commonly used in sinks and bathroom floors. Their prices are really competitive and they offer flat rate to US states on all their available items. I actually like the unique styles of tiles they offer. Look at these Clayline Ceramic Tile Liners:

Arent they unique? They come in varied colors as well. And if you look at the details, you can see it really speaks of good workmanship.

Getting rid of clutter can be an important step in simplifying your life, reducing anxiety, and minimalizing all the “extras” in your life that you don’t really need.

So here are the tips I can share about my own ways in trying to keep a clutter free home:
1. Stick with a schedule.
2. Do a mass cleanup first - get rid of as much junk as possible. One rule: If it hasnt been used in a year, throw it away.
3. Have an organizational system that works for you.
4. Share and designate chores.
5. Do small clean ups.
