We are enrolling Matthew in a swimming class come May. We figured it would be good for him and will let him have something good to do. He also wants to take Taekwando classes but I havent seen any classes being offered that is near our area. Any other summer to do’s that you can recommend that would be good for the kids.

Insurance is a very important investment. I am so thankful my company has medical benefits which include health cards for me and my family. It has greatly been helpful especially since I have kids to take care of. We are just done with the kids’ annual check up and I just have to take Matthew in for additional tests for his asthma - yes- asthma sucks - and we are done. I hope he doesnt have any more allergies. In the United States, health insurance is given to all states and most HMO companies are Blue Cross Blue Shield, United, Kaiser & Aetna agents for all states. I hope our government has this kind of policy for all Filipinos.

If you are in the US, for example, there is a website that lets you compare health insurance plans for free. The web site - http://www.usa-healthinsurance.com/ - allows you to get the lowest plans available for insurance plans from major companies so you can shop and compare before you buy health insurance online. You can get even request for a Blue Cross Blue Shield quote! You just need to select the coverage you need, they will send you quotes and you can now apply online after you choose! That easy!

I found a new banking site today. It is a new site focused to direct consumers to online banking with high yield savings account. Rates for saving account are as high as 6% now but most consumers still only earn below 1%. Compare online banking interest rates, savings accounts features and find a new savings account or checking account that earns more interest with SavingsAccounts.com. It is a pretty nice deal if you ask me.

I stumbled upon this site that helps one increase site visibility and monetize blogs as well. I have bookmarked it so I can apply it on my personal blog - mbaviso.com. There was too much to take in at one time so I signed up for an email subscription of his entries. You might want to head on over there to know more :D

As a scrapbooker, it is important for me to have a reliable printer who prints quality pages for me to scrapbook well, especially with hybrid pages. I do my pages digitally, or on the computer, print them out using my EPSON R1800 and then embellish. For printing text documents though that do not need color, I use the EPSON T007201 ink. I have always been satisfied with my EPSON printer. Regarding ink cartridges, I just order online most of the time at DataBazaar. It has free shipping on every order and their catalog is complete with every brand of printer, ink cartridges and paper.

After I get to enroll my son next month for school, Im going to save up for a laptop I can call my own. Having one would definitely help me scrap more - no sharing with husband, I can scrap while watching the kids. Im excited actually. Recommendations have it that I buy in Singapore where everything tech is cheaper :D

I know of a friend who took up multiple student loans to be able to finish college. Now that she is finished she got a student loan consolidation financing plan to be able to pay off her college finance debts. Student loan consolidation refinances multiple education loans into one new loan with a new repayment term, monthly payments, and interest rate. I saw this web site - Student Loan Consolidation Lowdown and they have blog carnivals wherein they host a blog post each week that have links to posts related to a topic of the week. They also have information on student loans and tips on how to apply for one and the best type for an applicant.

So we are now planning our family’s vacation - it will just be the four of us, and we will do it after Matthew’s enrollment. The most feasible location would be Subic since there is a zoo, a tour and a swimming pool. I should inquire about their rates and ongoing promos. We probably would stay overnight on a weekend. My uncle works there so we can swing by the Yacht Club as well. I really need to lose weight now — think about all the pictures with a swimming suit on! Yikes!!!

I need to wear glasses now. An assessment made by an optometrist during our annual medical and physical examination showed I now had a not so perfect eyesight - maybe because of sitting in front of the computer for too long. But I am not very diligent in wearing glasses. I wore glasses when I was in college and I always forgot them, broke them or misplaced them. So I switched to wearing contact lens. I love wearing focus dailies contact lens. They are daily disposable lenses. So you can see it doesnt require daily cleaning and you still get fresh new lenses every day. This is best for me since I have an allergy to dust and anything that irritates me will lead me to sneezing all day. With one-day use lenses, I can prevent build up of pollen and other allergens. They have this feature that has time released moisture everytime you blink so no more lubricating every now and then! This lenses really give meaning to word “all around comfort”. I am a busy person and this represent the ultimate in convenience - I can wear them for a day and then throw them away. I dont have time everyday to clean them before wearing them so having daily disposables help me save time, it only gives me clear vision each day - hassle free. I use Focus Dailes from Ciba.
