Brain Cancer Awareness
I have recently been so touched reading a child’s experience with Brain Cancer. He had radiosurgery to remove the tumor and a special Head Child Program to fully remove any residual tumor which ended in an autologous bone marrow transplant. I am so touched, impressed and amazed how his family were such a strong support group for each other during those trying times. He got diagnosed three days after his youngest sister was born so it was hard for them dealing with entirely two different situations at the same time.Top neurosurgery treatment uses non-invasive radiosurgery like gamma knife nowadays. Gamma Knife radiosurgery has been used for decades to treat brain tumors and brain disorders, and thanks to constant advancements in technology, remains the choice of neurosurgeons worldwide. In fact, almost half a million people have been treated with Gamma Knife surgery, with a high rate of success.
