We are thinking of getting area rugs for our house. It will add some warmth to the place since we can switch rugs to match the upholstery and curtains everytime we change them. It also would be cheaper than to replace our flooring which must be replaced sooner or later. We might get one for each doorstep and one big one for the living area. This would not be a carpet, mind you, but an area rug.
