Getting Ready for Basketball Science Camp!
It’s Matthew’s vacation in a week and we are now ready to sign him up for some summer sports classes! He now has two on his list – swimming and basketball, which totally makes Edil happy! Edil really wants Matthew to get involved with basketball because it is his favorite sport. Add to that is the fact his son is tall for his age and has the possibility to be at least 6feet tall so his frustrated hopes of becoming a varsity basketball player in college would be possible for his son. So much happy and excited is he that he wants to invest in in-ground basketball equipment! Can you believe it? Edil wants to invest on a durable in-ground basketball system that will last the wear and tear it will experience in the adolescent years of Matthew. We know flimsy portable systems dont even last through the summer, right? Edil can play his game at the usual height and adjust it for Matthew’s level when it is his turn. There are adjustable goals which are versatile and fit any family situation. Look at this – Edil can lower the hoop to 8 feet so he can dunk and practice his shoots. Matthew can play at 5 feet and start practicing for real competition at school. The biggest advantage of a pier is that you can move your basketball goal whenever you would like without loosing the advantages of an in-ground basketball hoop such as the rigid gym-like play and clean look.
The Hoops glass backboards that are used in each of the basketball hoops make them like the ones in professional gyms because there is no drum head effect. One advantage as well is that the glass will look EXACTLY the same 20 years from now, because it doesnt scratch, yellow or fade like other materials. They come with one piece heavy duty pole that is made of 3/16″ of thick carbon steel. Edil wants the Pro Dunk Silver Basketball System. It has the biggest backboard at the lowest cost in the high end residential Pro Dunk line.
