A Life Class.
When I was in high school, I always wondered what the world outside school has to offer. I always believed I can learn more outside the confines of my classroom and there are more lessons to be learned than what my teachers are teaching us in school. It is good to know there is now a program called Global Leadership Adventures. It is a program for high school students which allow them to volunteer in South Africa, Brazil or Costa Rica. Without a doubt, they will have life-changing experiences there that they can surely write about in their college essays. Can you just imagine how it will set them apart from other college hopefuls? The wealth of knowledge and the wisdom gained from that experience alone is so worth it. And to see the world out of their own comfort zone. That would be cool - to be a real student in this thing called life.
