1. Summer is here. While I am not a big fan of the heat that comes along with it, I am excited for the kids’ vacation and the activities we do during summer. Maybe we can even celebrate with a BBQ party and bust out a charcoal grill for my daughter’s birthday party!
2. Leyte trip.
3. Dear daughter is finished with year-end exams. Now we wait for school to officially end.
4. The new iPad.
5. New TV addiction: Junior MasterChef Australia and the Voice.
6. Chowking and Razon Halo Halo
7. Opened bank accounts of the kids.
8. Steady work
9. Inspiring times ahead.
10. Steadily losing. Though I’d go on detox first thing next week after the trip. Cravings are starting to kick in again.

Some people say that knowledge is power. When you learn something of practical value and put it to use, you can make a lot of positive changes happen in a fairly short time period. In the area of Forex trading, you can make these positive changes in a very profitable way. Going into the Forex market as a newbie without enough knowledge is like going into a shark tank without any kind of protection — you might live, but you will be missing a few chunks.

Learning by Experience

Some people say that experience is the harshest teacher of all, and that its lessons are the ones that will stick with you the longest. While this may or may not be true, experience is a great way to learn how to trade Forex successfully. Naturally, you will make a lot of mistakes during your early formative time trading, but these losses can be chalked up as “tuition” for the knowledge you will gain.

Ultimately, when you are forex trading online with ufxmarkets.com, you will slowly but certainly come to understand the ins and outs of trading foreign currencies successfully. However, before you get started experiencing the challenges of the Forex market, you would be very wise to have a firm understanding of the terminology used and the technical aspects of your account. This “book learning” does not require any experience at all.

Learning Through Instruction

Instruction can spare you a lot of unnecessary pain. Instruction can come from a variety of sources, such as through taking classes on how to evaluate an investment. From the most important questions of why to invest in a particular asset class or what percentage of your wealth to devote to a given class all the way down to the nuts and bolts of how to actually place a trade, seek out as much instruction as possible.

Many of the best online trading platforms offer all kinds of tutorials on how to use their services. Make use of these tutorials until you become capable of executing a trade without worrying about pushing the wrong button or forgetting the order of a given currency pair. Then you can focus on the purpose of a given trade instead of how to place it.

Learning By Example

There are numerous examples of excellent traders over the long history of the financial markets, and each one has an individual style. One great way to learn how to trade is to take as many lessons as you can by reading up on who’s made amazing profits, how they did so and why they made their individual decisions. Every truly successful person has mentors.

Marriage Sustains Your Love

Your love is your own private possession, but marriage is more than something personal — it is a status, an office. Just as it is the crown, and not merely the will to rule, that makes the king, so it is marriage, and not merely your love for each other, that joins you together in the sight of God and man. As you gave the ring to one another and have now received it a second time from the hand of the pastor, so love comes (not) from you, but marriage from above, from God. As high as God is above man, so high are the sanctity, the rights, and the promise of love. It is not your love that sustains the marriage, but from now on, the marriage that sustains your love. (Dietrich Bonhoeffer)

Turning 31.

So I turned 31 last week. I have on my list of to-do’s to document the 30 awesome things and moments like what is fast-becoming my most favorite blogger to date, Elise Baha, did.

But it is still a work in progress. I am determined to finish that one though, as I am going to include that in my Awesome 30 album.

When I turned 30 last year, I geared up myself to celebrating it big. I wanted it to be monumental. So when I was 29, I planned it endlessly. Only to be disappointed with myself that I didn’t reach my goals for 3-0. So I did a 30 things to do at 30 list. To be precise, I think I only managed to cross 5 out of the 30. Pathetic, I know.

So when I was fast approaching 31 a couple of weeks ago, I told myself I won’t do another 31 at 31 list. Don’t try to shoot for the moon, Aggie, I said. But I’m still doing it. Because those 5 I was able to do were more than enough for me to still keep on trying.

And the biggest challenge I give myself this year -

Love for Music

Love for music apparently runs deep in both sides of our family. My parents and siblings are good singers and two of them were in a band before. My husband’s side of the family are avid fans of the karaoke. Never will they miss a chance to sing everytime they get together – and they sing pretty well too! This is why I have been praying the my kids inherit their musicality, not mine. I cannot sing to save my life :) . So I was very happy to discover my eldest taking an interest to playing the guitar (he doesn’t need the ibanez de7 pedal yet though) and having a good singing voice! He sang when he joined a competition in school and many noted that his voice was pretty good!
