Do as the Romans do.
We have family friends who have been very lucky to go to Rome and have an audience with the Pope. I really wish I can take my family there someday. Maybe we can get really blessed and we can have an audience with the Pope too! I have heard that there are even couples who were granted blessings for their renewal of vows. That would be a dream come true!
If ever we get to be able to travel to Rome, I will make sure to book a guided tour with Collette Vacations. Collette Vacations offers trips to every continent. The Sullivan family prides itself on providing high-value tours to the world’s most popular destinations. They are the ones who give 12-day national parks tours across the five national parks in the US. Collette Vacations offers an amazing array of itineraries, including 11 river cruises, five rail journeys and 54 trips in North America.
Their Rome and Amalfi Coast Tour is a 9-day tour that will take people to see and explore "the Eternal city" of Rome, and spend five leisurely nights on southern Italy’s breathtaking Amalfi coast with its stunning vistas of the Mediterranean Sea.
What is great about booking with Collette Vacations is that you get to enjoy free round trip sedan service that takes you from your home to the airport when you purchase an air-inclusive Collette tour.* This personalized service – including gratuities – is available on new air-inclusive bookings to the South Pacific, Canada, and Europe; and on ALL Smithsonian Journeys Travel Adventures and Explorations by Collette tours.

There is more than going through a pilgrimage to the Holy Land of Jerusalem, which now sits on the country known as Israel. Part of pilgrimage trips is a tour of the Dead Sea, which plays a significant part of Jesus’ life in the bible. The Dead Sea, which actually is nominated to be one of the seven wonders in the world, is called such because no fish has been reported to be able to live with its high concentration of salt. In fact, it is known for having the highest salt concentration (32%) by any water body on the Earth. It is also the lowest point on the earth, being 1,320 feet below sea level. Because of its location, its waters contain 21 minerals including magnesium, calcium, bromine and potassium. Twelve of these are found in no other area and some are recognized for imparting a relaxed feeling, nourishing the skin, activating the circulatory systems and for easing rheumatic discomfort and metabolic disorders. The area around the Dead Sea has been occupied with hotels promoting healing and wellness, as thermo-mineral springs abide together with natural mineral spring water. Dead Sea hotels have more to offer than any other hotels in Israel – health, beauty and wellness are the most popular reasons. The Dead Sea is the only place where you can sunbathe for hours without getting a sunburn because of these layers: an extra atmospheric layer, an evaporation layer that exists above the Dead Sea and a rather thick ozone layer. Because of the high barometric pressure and constant evaporation, it has approximately 8% more oxygen than anywhere else on earth thus making breathing easier.
Of course, the signature element of the Dead Sea which has been commercialized to no end is the black mud. It is a is homogeneous mixture of Dead Sea minerals, important organic elements from the shoreline as well as earth. This what dead sea hotels offer to their clients as well – you get to experience your own Dead Sea Oasis. The most popular of all Dead Sea hotels and one of the first located directly on the beach, the LOT SPA Hotel, is located in the heart of the Ein Bokek hotel district. They offer the modern lotuSpa which brings relaxation and rejuvenation. They have rooms which provide a great view of the Dead Sea as well.
When you get the chance to travel to Israel, consider staying longer and try the hotels along the Dead Sea and experience what really is relaxation about.

That would not be us!
Most kids in school are now officially on summer vacation. Mine still has a week to go (up to Thursday actually) before he can finally call it vacation. It will end with their Recognition Day – hoping my son is included!) Most of my friends have already booked their family trip to the beach. I am still holding out on this as we need to prioritize the kids’ enrollment and summer classes (more on that later). We have temporary plans to go on Martha’s 4th birthday but nothing is written in stone yet. Truth be told, I am terrified of the beach! I always fear something bad will happen like a tsunami or a drowning accident. Give me a pool anytime.
It won’t stop me from dreaming on someday being able to go and experience an all inclusive Caribbean resort. The Caribbean is famous for it all inclusive beach resorts, like Breezes Resorts, which has beautiful resorts in Bahamas, Jamaica, Curacao and Brazil. You may not catch me swimming in the beach but I would definitely be enjoying the shore and discovering the world-class amenities these resorts has to offer. When you talk about all inclusive caribbean vacations , you immediately think rest and recreation. I think spa and tan lines!

That is what Hedonism Resort is – melting pot and meeting point for looking for fun single adults. Situated in Negril and Runaway Bay, Jamaica, it is the most preferred resort for adult vacations. Where else can you do what you want whenever you like? You can stay up late, sleep all day, not sleep at all – drink all you want, drink while the sun is out, go skinny dipping (Yes, there is a nudist resort!). It is perfect place to have the time of your life for a singles vacation! You can avail of their day or night passes.

The holidays are here! Everybody is gearing up for Thanksgiving on Thursday and after that most families put their trees up already – it is the start of the holiday season, officially. We are going to spend it at home, as with every Christmas, to be with family and loved ones.
I am helping a friend though travel this Christmas. She just recently got promoted after all her hard work this year and got a hefty bonus so she wants to get away with her family to spend quality time with them. It will also be her treat to her kids since she was away at work for most part of the year. They already have been the the US so she is looking towards somewhere in Europe this time. If only she can afford a European tour – but she will be traveling with her husband with three kids in tow so that might not be within her budget.
Cheap Holidays are easier to find these days, thanks to ULookUBook.com. You can choose from the variety of travel destinations that they offer and decide if you want to book both flight and hotel travel plans or just one or the other. As of this writing, my friend is partial to going to France and she is going to be doing some reading with the France travel guide available on the site.
