Giving this to my parents. My Dad arranged a section of his office to hold pictures of the family. Guess who had the biggest picture? (The grandkids, of course).
I plan to do my dad’s side of the family next. I just need to scan my aunt’s photos.
(Muntik na kami mag-away ni Edil dahil dito)
Wait, nag-away na pala kami.
My b*tt was at the computer chair for most of the night because I was busy finishing this:

Two brag books and 4 posters so that it can be shipped to Abbie before she leaves. (The free coupons were going to waste so I better use them). I think I need to cheap eyeglasses after this because Im always in front of the computer - either at work or at home. My eyesight is still good but I need to one to reduce eye stress. I think that’s what it called?
Now, I need to clean the house, then do the tags in my blogs, blog, and then do some mommy work blogging
Thanks for dropping by!
Ill hop around tonight.
I finished something monumental yesterday.
Here is the Shutterfly Cover. I used Mary Fran’s awesome stuff - The Comfort and Joy Collection. You can click on the image to see the whole project.
I did my first invite for a friend last week.
What do you think?
Pwede na ba? ![]()

Yay! The Christmas Album is at least 50% done!! I cannot believe how easy it is to do this! I have been scrapping for the last two days and was able to finish the majority. Lessons learned: 1) Plan and be organized. 2) Journal in your notebook (or BLOG!) — there are entries which are blog entries. 3) Take PICTURES!
Im trying to finish this before January 15 to take advantage of the 20% off from Shutterfly. I scored a great deal off Ebay ($7.75 for 5 Shutterfly Calendars!) and plan to make a calendar for my in-laws and their families too ![]()
I finally finished Martha’s First Year Book, thanks to Glo’s nagging, LOL. I really wasnt into it but my free book is about to expire (I had three and gave Glo two of those - ganun ako katamad, LOL) and Glo really pressured me to produce one. Hahaha. So there. Im not entirely happy with it, but I think it covers her first year really well. My most favorite layouts: Anticipation and Letter to My Daughter are there, so Im giddy with it na din.
Plus, the Shutterfly Calendar and Poster arrived already. My mom and dad loved it, and wants me to do more. If I can swing it, Id definitely make two more for the house. I got another free poster from them so I made a poster of this family picture of ours.
So what are your scrapping goals this year? Im sharing mine on my scrapblog - check it out ![]()
Forgive the lack of updates.
Im trying to catch up on Photo a Day Challenge (scrapping them mostly), and between that and “real” work, I dont have time to laze around and blog. I do have some assignments that I need to finish between now and tomorrow so you will see more of me.
I am trying to write a monthly review of our year and then scrapbook it in two pages.
Wish me luck ![]()
I think a lot of you got interested with the Photo-a-Day project
This wasn’t really my idea - you can see it in scrapping galleries everywhere. Jessica Sprague conceptualized the idea and even gave away a nice, useable template.
I hope you join along — it so nice to really document everything everyday promise :). Even if it is really ordinary stuff, kahit na paulit ulit.
You can find awesome inspiration in these galleries: Steph’s and Mollie’s.
And if you are looking for some REAL inspiration for next year, look at Anna’s awesome weekly year in reviews. Seriously awesome stuff. She is doing a Photo a Day for December too. Look here.
And can I give you another super nice project?
Look at this super nice layout (she has versions for all kids - here, here and here). Nice no? This will look great with the kids. Knowing me, I have hundreds of their pictures. (Even kaming dalawa ni Edil). She used the template here.
You know how much I love scrapbooking. It is my hobby, my way of preserving family memories and my stress release outlet. Many people have asked me how to start, where to start, if they are even capable of doing one. My answer is YES! I primarily scrap digitally, but I have been interested in paper scrapbooking as well. I order most of my stuff online. One store is the Modzy.com - Scrapbook Design Studio. They sell scrapbook supplies like other stores but the main difference and huge advantage of their store is the Scrapbook Design Studio. Registered users of the sore can upload their own pictures, add text, images, or stickers, to create their own scrapbook. When they are done, they can order all the supplies with the click of a button to make it themselves. If you feel you do not have enough time, they can arrange to make the scrapbook for you. They are going to launch more features so watch for it soon!
For scrappers like me
(digital please!).
Today is Digital Scrapbooking Day! You can read all my activities in scrap-a-landia in my scrap blog. I plan to scrap later. And I am avoiding all stores and will focus on SSD, my home!
I will be active throughout the weekend though. As Joy puts it, I became a hungry wolf and took some assignments that are due in 48 hrs. I have a lot of catching up to do, that’s for sure!
Another Cookie Decorating Challenge over at SSD this week! You can read all about the challenge here. The link contains the link to download the template as well. So far, Im so pleased with the outcome of the participants’ challenges. Im enjoying their response and have so far bookmarked layouts to be lifted in the future :). You can see my take on the challenge to your left. Credits can been seen here. I hope it makes scrapping easier for you!
And don’t forget my game a few posts below. Im going to scrap the real story soon.
This layout of mine can been seen at the latest issue of Digital Artist Magazine, which you can pick up at SSD. It is the first time I have ever been published so Im pretty happy that one of my all-time favorite layouts was picked. Audrey just requested for some layouts featuring typography and I randomly picked some layouts which I think show a good example of it. Maybe next year I can be brave enough to submit to paper magazines for publications..maybe :). You can read more about it here.
I have been scrapping Edil for two weeks in a row already - no special reasons. I just have so many “nice” pictures of him are that are dying to be scrapped. He is such a pro in front of the camera, Matthew takes after him - they just shine. And as usual, scrapping the SO makes me speechless. Really now, how do you journal about your DH without turning into a sap? Or mush? Or worse, a nag? LOL. I love these pages. Might make this into a “HIM” album one of these days - let’s see if I can make this layouts become 10 pages. Neutral colors too huh? Complete coincidence.
Here is another one:
You can click on each of the images to go to my Flickr gallery to see the larger version and know the credits as well. I have been leaning towards browns and blacks lately and have been so obssessed with making my layouts look like paper. Im far from it but design-wise, I have been hanging out at 2Peas more and more to get inspiration.
