Archives for OC: Agendas category

To-Do for the Week.

  • Schedule an appointment with my OB for a check-up and my dentist for a cavity feeling. I also need to consult her (she is trying her luck to be a charlotte cosmetic dentist) regarding the jacket of my other tooth.
  • Accomplish 50% of the album for a client.
  • Stay on top of writing jobs (this one is the hardest).
  • Work on blog traffic

Mommy Tasks:

  1. Schedule pediatrician visit of the kids and dental cleaning too.
  2. Ask around for a speech doctor (is there such a thing?) – I want to have Marts assessed.
  3. Grocery
  4. Get the kids’ books down from the shelves.

And I have a million other things to do – I hardly ever sleep and if I have time, I can’t :c

So Many Things To Write.

So little time to do it.

I am still caught with all the activities that come during the holidays. We have been going out non-stop since the 24th and I long for at least a week to clam up and just chill around the house. We are here in Manila to be part of my goddaughter’s 7th birthday and this is our second time in Manila in less than three days. Seven-hour trips doesn’t really sit well with me. Thankfully, not one of us have been sick, but I’m guessing we will be if we don’t slow down.

Anyway, there are a lot of stories to share but that needs to be put on hold until Monday, when I can, hopefully, blog more freely in the comforts of my own home. For now, I am browsing some free wordpress themes as I have the itch to ring in the new year with new looks for my blogs.

There are nice wordpress themes at FreetheMeLayouts.com. They look like premium themes and the nice part about it are they are very much free. I have chosen around four themes to use for my blogs and now the only thing I am asking for is more time in a day, or maybe less activities to be able to get back to the usual swing of things before the holiday madness took over.

Remind Me.

I am caught off guard with the holiday rush. There are still 101 things to do before Christmas arrives and procastinator that I am, you bet that I have not even started anything.

With Edil being home, I have limited time computer, during early mornings when the kids and him are still sleeping and late evenings when the kids are sleeping. That means I cram and cram to meet deadlines for job assignments – I don’t say no even to the lowest offers – it’s all about getting the cashola now, with the no-spending-lets-start-saving pact I did with fellow Mommy bloggers.

Anyway, that was such a LOOOONG foreword, REMIND ME to blog about these:
1. Matthew’s Field Trip
2. Matthew’s Birthday Party
3. Matthew’s Ambition
4. Martha’s Accident
5. Simbang Gabi
6. The Kids’ Wish List for Santa (check)
7. The Yearly Round-Up.

That’s enough for me to fill up until Christmas Eve, which I am sure will have MORE stories.

Enjoy the holidays!

Random Stuff

It has been a long time since I wrote about me here. I decided to dispose my thoughts of myself on another blog and keep this a mommy and wife blog. (You got to keep things organized). But for the sake of keeping things interesting (and so that I can blog more!), I thought you might want to know:

1. That I have gained back the pounds I lost when I had dengue. No surprise there, especially from my family. :) My mom is insisting I take dietpills already.
2. That I am cured from my insomnia. It was so vicious I was really suffering for three weeks. I get sleepy now when it’s time for bed. Thankfully.
3. That I finally can prove I’m such a crybaby. Even my kids make me cry.
4. That age is getting to me. I find it hard to multi-task and still focus.
5. That I plan to quit blogging altogether by next year.

Of course, you would know the last one is a joke. But it has been on my mind a lot lately especially since the itch to study again is getting overwhelming.

I have a lot to blog about, but it requires serious concentration and zero interruption from my kids who think I am the only one who can put on the TV and get the water from the ref. *Ugh* So until next time, watch out for:
1. July – October monthly round ups (I need to do this for the Year in the Life Album I want to finish by end of this year. So far, all I have done is the journaling. I have yet to wade through DVDs of photos).
2. Matthew and Martha – Right Now.
3. Us – Right Now.
4. AWK 5: Blog-istory.

Of course you can read the dozens of posts I’ve written on the momentous Twitter EB (naks) a few posts below and on my other blogs. Too bad I missed the MBAP party. I’ll attend next time, promise (wag lang Nov 14, bday ng Mommy ko yun hehehe)

Checking in..

…on a Saturday.

Im just waiting for Edil to finish taking a bath so we can go to the grocery. Im too lazy to cook so I might just use my charm and let Edil take us to Mahogany for some bulalo (cheap but tastes better than Leslie’s). I’ll ask my Dad too as my Mom is in Manila.

I have so many things to do, blog and scrap wise and I need to make a list of it. The kasipagan of fellow mommy bloggers is contagious so kunwari nagsisipag sipagan din ako :D Hehehe.

And since I love lists :)

Good thing the weekend is extended until Tuesday for us :)

To-Do.

1. E-mail the album specs to a respective client.
2. Upload layouts done, work on more templates. Free some space so that the computer memory wont be too slow!
3. Design new blog.
4. Exercise for 20 minutes. YOU NEED TO SWEAT WOMAN!
5. Pack personal belongings in one box. Segregate clothes of the kids.
6. Dispose scratched DVDs into the trash.
7. Update blog roll links.

Let’s see if we can strike this list today :D

Buzzy Busy.

Yep, that will be me all week. Im working on something I cant tell right now.
Basta you will know when it’s done and Im there :)
Have a great week!

Weekend Crunchtime

I slacked on most work related tasks that needed to be done this week so I guess I would need to work the whole weekend.

We are just off to do some groceries and spend time with the kids (as we were gone for two days) but Ill be back to post the recap to AWK1 and post the Aggie Wants to Know#3: Halfway :)

Enjoy the weekend :)
