Work From Home

With the current economy, most families can no longer live on a single income, usually shouldered by the father. That is why so many mothers work these days – the standard of living has increased but unfortunately, everyone’s salaries haven’t. It is fortunate though that there are now more opportunities for moms to stay at home and still be able to earn to support their families. Work From Home with the home based business network marketing offered by 4Life Research. You might have negative notions when it comes to networking, thinking of pyramid scams and that only the top level entries get paid the most. But this is a legal business and the most effective way of marketing – you only market the product once, and if done effectively, your work will ripple until the bottom line and you still get the rewards and earn from it.

4Life Research has always been a pioneer in bringing to market products that do exactly what they claim to be able to do. Because the industry is so large, the market for Transfer Factor is absolutely huge. 4Life Research Transfer Factor is a product that really has few equals.

I have been blessed to be given an opportunity to take care of the kids and help with the payables each month. I hope it continues!

Working from Home

One of the many things I am grateful for is having the opportunity to be able to have a choice to stay at home to take care of the kids and still be able to work. That is one of the many things you can do over the internet – you can work and like me and the rest of the blogs I maintain and write, make money online. It maybe overwhelming at first but it actually is very easy to do.

In a nutshell, if you have a blog or own a web site, you can monetize it by accepting advertisements in the form of banners, link ads and sponsored posts. With Simply.com, you can earn as a publisher in a unique system where advertisers place banner ads through a sophisticated targeting system. Registration and set-up is free and the site is easy to navigate through. Publishers (you!) can earn as much as 90% of the revenue generated from the advertisements.

Once you have registered and enrolled your blogs or sites, you can now choose how large your site can accept banners or what format you want your text advertisements to be. I know times are hard and earning in every way you can even from home will be a great help. Try it!

I worked in an outsourcing company who had clients all over the world for five years. It is amazing how communication technology has minimized geographical barriers and state boundaries in terms of doing business. We served a client based in the US for five years who only went to visit our headquarters once a year – this was support for e-mail, voice, chat and fax which requires 24 hours a day, seven days a week shifting schedules of over 200 employees!

You would wonder how they could manage such a demanding business thousands of miles away. Thanks to advancements in communication technology, now business can, at only a fraction of a cost! There is no need for executives to travel more often than necessary because meetings can now be held via Video conference! You get to conduct meetings with your client and/or employees/employer in different locations even in different timezones!

Audio conferencing is no longer classified as just a phone call – companies like the Conference Group can meet demands of companies which need international toll-free numbers, conference call abilities which can connect parties without sacrificing audio quality, digital playback, voice recording and more! And now, Web conferencing with the aid of a high-speed internet connection, a good computer and a web cam can manage trainings, presentations and virtual meetings in a breeze!

How to Find Travel Nurse Jobs

If you’re looking into travel nurse jobs, then you’ve probably heard about the higher pay, lucrative benefits, and incredible bonuses. It’s true; travel nursing is the way of the future and many nurses are looking into taking advantage of the opportunity. But just how do you go about finding jobs as a travel nurse? Let’s take a look at your options.

The first place to start when looking for a travel nurse job is a trusted travel nursing company or agency. Most hospitals hire travel nurses from an agency so this is the best place to start. The travel nurse agency basically acts as a human resource agent. The agency contracts with the hospital for travel nurse jobs and then sets the terms of our employment.

Once you’ve chosen an agency, the next thing you’ll need to do is fill out all the paperwork. There is a lot of paperwork and tests involved in finding jobs as a travel nurse, but the end result is well worth the upfront work. Most agencies will ask you to fill out an application, provide your work history, show your current nursing license, and show proof of a number of tests, like TB and immunizations. Once you have filled out all the paperwork and shown the proper test results and certifications, you’ll be ready to be recommended for travel nursing jobs.

From here, the agency searches for jobs for you that match your specifications and qualifications, contacts the hospital, and handles negotiations for employment. The agency really does most of the work in finding jobs for you that fit your needs. You are still in control of accepting a job or not.

If you are thinking about becoming a travel nurse, find a reputable agency in your area and get started today. Soon, you could be on your way to the opportunity of a lifetime.

A Job for 2010?

I have been thinking if I should go back to the workforce next year, once Martha goes to school. Those finance jobs or the ones involved in the callcenter industry is a no-go for me as I would very much like to practice what I have studied and earned a degree for. But as life for me is, I should never close any doors and never say never.

Thy Will Be Done!

Being on Time.

I worked at the call center industry for five years. If not for anything else other than money, the job taught me a lot about discipline and punctuality. Despite what others think of being an agent as an extremely easy job, it really isn’t. One, it requires you to work at odd hours, shifting times. You, in short, work like someone who does hospital work. Not all people can adjust body clocks easily. Two, there are a lot of metrics involved. Bonuses are many but are hard to come by. Three, as we have Americans as bosses and clients, we go live by the American time as well – meaning everyone is expected to come in on time, and get paid their money’s worth by making sure every penny is clocked in. Integrated Time And Attendance in our workplace is state of the art technology. No more bundy machines that involved other friends clocking you in. Your office log/time-in is recorded on the front desk using your eCard or fingertip. That is your time in at work. And how finance computes pay. However, the time you log in the Avaya workstation and PC is your time for actual workload and that is how management/supervisors computes your metrics. For a long time before I resigned, I knew that the IT and Finance Dept were working hand in hand to streamline the process. I hope they got the system provided by TimeClockeShop.com

It seems this month is starting off nicely. Edil’s work situation is improving (though it is still hard with him working in Manila) and I have a lot of work assignments lately. I actually am a little overwhelmed by it all that I do not know where to start. However, I will never complain though as luck is on my side this month – after almost three months of stress, I can finally breathe easier.

I actually twitted this yesterday when I received good news from a friend (Bless her heart):

You know,Im reversing my belief – there is no such thing as luck, there are only blessings. Believe. Have faith.Start September right :)

However, I woke up today feeling so sick. Change of seasons does that to me. Every morning my nose is so clogged I can hardly breathe and my mouth is so dry my throat hurts. Hellooooo Pollen!

So what have we been doing? We are staying with the grandparents a lot this week because the kids are getting cabin fever being locked up in the house all the time – what can you do? Boredom sucks.

We have been eating out a lot too. We do need to have the vehicle we use checked. We might get flagged down for smoke belching. It also doesn’t run very well – you can hear the engine sounds and I fear it might die on us every minute. So we need to schedule a check-up for its maintenance soon. Sometimes I wish Edil practiced his college degree. He graduated from Mechanical Engineering so he knows more about cars. Air Gauges are one of the things he had a hard time studying for since they lacked actual examples in their lab. Their school needed to buy them overseas by ordering online at PrierTireSupply.biz. They are the leading supplier of air gauges and they have all the sizes they need for actual demonstration.

Prepping for the Holidays

Wow, can you believe it, we are only a few days away from the –ber months! Before you know it, it’s going to be the holidays again (my most favorite part of the year). Like how the song goes – It’s the most wonderful time of the year – it’s going to be extra special this year because there will be a lot of events starting as early as October and people close to our family will be coming home. I’m sure our days will be packed. I really should plan and think ahead of things needed to be done. I may need a few dresses, white dresses for me and the little girl, white polos for the husband and the big brother, maybe a cocktail dress for a formal party.

I think our weekends from October to December will be booked. I just hope we can make it to all the parties because it’s harder with Edil’s current work schedule. I also have been contemplating to take up an offer from a friend for a part-time job (20 hours a week) that will pay as much as I earned from my previous job. It’s really tempting. I just need to discern what would be best for my kids – and I need a maid!!! Please pray I find someone soon. Even if I stay at home, I need someone to help me watch over the kids. I can’t even go to the grocery without taking the kids with me – without Edil at home, it is harder.
