A former officemate messaged me over at YM a few days ago and told me that the Kenneth Cole watch that is awarded for employees tenured at five years was released already. She got hers (we were the same hire date) and told me to ask for mine. Technically, I tenured five years on February 3 and resigned April 30 - so even if I exited without the watch, I SHOULD still have it. Point is, Im too lazy to even call the HR Office or message my former supervisor. I can just ask for it when I go back at the end of the month for my back pay (which Im actually eagerly awaiting for, honestly). I know it’s cheaper than Technomarine Nautica watches but I qualified for it, I deserve it, I should get it, right?

I cant find a picture of the watch online but it’s pretty nice, enough for everyday use.

…on almost all the days I reported for work, I still am not even half of what my goals are for the week.
I am so frustrated.
And to think for past five years I have been blogging, I have never even blogged about my work.
And now Im blogging about it all the time.
Yuck. I sound so boring.

I guess moving up does that to you.

I am going to the office tomorrow so I can have a looong weekend ahead (Easter) so I need a command prompt by 8AM tomorrow that I NEED to start working. Meaning, no blogging, no surfing, no blurfing (blogging and surfing = HA!), chatting and feeling lazy. My boss is sure to reprimand me already as I have not been punctual turning in my work every week = sickness of one who is to resign? Hehee.

(Our office is at the negative degrees I swear, my nose and ears hurt and I can hear my bones locking everytime I get up. My hands get frostbite. Im having a hard time working).

It’s 5:12PM. And Im still in the office. Usually, Im out and into the streets, going home at 5:01.

Not now. Im so swamped with work, it hurts, hahahaha.
I cant even take care of my other job. Ugh.

And I have so many things I want to do, like scrap but I always just reason out:

“Will it make me money?”

Syempre, no. So I try (operative: try) to work.

Somebody needs to get a life here.
I cant even browse soompi to get my GY fix because I know it will ruin my “momentum”.

Im back to regular programming, schedule wise, at work today.
I cant be any happier. Unfortunately, Im swamped with work so I need to play ‘blind’ and do online jobs later. My monthly target for earning needs to be met!

So many preggo ladies! One mommy blogger, several officemates, and before you know it, Im preggo as well - bwahahahaha. My Mom will absolutely faint when she read this (Hi Mom!)

But no, Im not pregnant. I dont plan to get pregnant.
Im just super happy I went to work with the sun shining on my face!

Second day of being on graveyard.
This is the reason why I’ll never go on graveyard again even if I get paid well.

I guess I always will have issues with balance.

Case in point, today is Thursday and I havent even reached 10% of goals at work.
However, I have scrapped 9 pages, caught up with friends and was able to keep the house clean.
But I have been late 2 days in a row - for more than 30 minuts (ack).

So today, I focus on work.
And naturally, everything else will slide.

Our clients are going for a visit next week so we need to perform well so we can get more business funding for our site. So it will be added pressure!

Last February 3rd marked my fifth year in my present company. I never knew I would last this long with my first job, because I just got the job to make ends meet while I study nursing.

Yet here I am.

I am still here, promoted, working with light loads (in short, petiks). Scratch that. The load isnt necessarily light but I don’t really need to bring home work, I can take leaves anytime I want to. And I have access to the internet all the time.

And when you get to stay with them for five years, you get a Kenneth Cole watch. Not too much for an employee who chose to stay with them for five long years in an industry where attrition is high and pirating candidates is normal.

Yet I stayed.
Because the job suits me and my lifestyle.

I get to study nursing, graduate from it, pass the board exams, get married, get pregnant, have Martha and then discover paid blogging. All the while having Bose headphones!

All because of this job.
I really dont have super close relations at the office (the type I get to see and hang outside with after office, if you know what I mean). Im basically a very passive employee here (save for lunch hour), I would more likely be chatting with friends overseas, blogging or surfing.

I guess Im just a bit senti because I get to leave a comfort zone by April :(.
I will miss PS.

We just received news that our Q2 and Q3 incentives will be credited (finally) and my boss says it’s big. WOW. Talk about timing — more moving homes fund!

On top of the 13th month pay.

I cannot actually detail how my day went since people at work might read my blog *wink*. Let me just say it’s already 12MN and I am still at the office. Been here since 7AM.

Had a great day though. Adrenaline is running pretty high still. I am now done with work. Now my sideline job needs attention. I need to finish them as I am pretty sure I will be hitting the sack for more than 8 hrs today. It is good thing my Mom went home. I will be back with more stories soon.

..and I am ALL WET. Pweh.

It was raining really hard when I was on the way to work that I was forced to wear heels so that my pants won’t get wet with the puddles. WRONG. My pants were ALL wet because of the rains and WINDS! Ugh. (Ang lamig pa man din sa office).

So today, I plan to work on my blogs, do my assignments, work on Excel, update my blog earnings accountings and then do actual real work, hehe.

Life is busy.

The househelp has arrived and I am back to work today. Everything back to normal? Hardly. I’ll miss the kids. The way Martha would make those funny faces and say “WOW!” everytime she sees food :). The way Matthew’s face lights up whenever he sees me standing and waiting for him at his school gate. It is as if he was mighty proud of me. Though I look forward to earning for the family again (I really didnt have time to blog and reserve assignments at home), I will miss cooking for my kids TRUE! I’ll not doing the laundry or not being able to go to the bathroom when I need to but I will miss this stress - this good kind of stress For now, it is back to the busy work force today. I have so many things to do (as always).
