Vitamin Store: Supervits.com

With the recent changes in our weather, so many kids are getting sick. My kids were not spared from flu season. They have never been sick as much as when flu season hit this year as compared to the last two years. We even had an episode where they needed to be confined. We have been recommended to give them health supplements in the form of vitamins, aside from the usual vitamins they take everyday (I even have them on double doses of Vitamin C everyday). My friends have discovered a super vitamin store called SuperVits.com where you can find all the right vitamins, nutritional supplements, and natural formulas to allow you to meet your personal goals, address particular conditions naturally, and live a healthier lifestyle.

Here are some of the vitamins or supplements offered in their store: Zyflamend vitamins are soft gel capsules that promote a healthy inflammation response, healthy joint function and normal cell growth.

Jarrow formulas manufacture the Hawthorn tablets, which promoted efficient heart function.

Now Vitamins manufacture the Garden of Life and Healthy Origins. The Garden of Life offers calcium, omega 3, antioxidants, iron and so many more. Healthy Origins are classified as high-metabolite immunogens that nourishe the body’s immune system to strengthen resistance and maintain wellness.

Is LASIK Surgery Right For You?

Many people suffer from poor eyesight and would love to get their perfect vision back. Good thing that LASIK, a type of refractive surgery for correcting nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism, was developed. It uses a laser to correct these vision problems. Unfortunately, despite the promise of a perfect 20/20 vision, not everyone is a good candidate for LASIK treatment. Below is a guide to know whether you can benefit from seeing a LASIK Surgery San Diego doctor.
* Over 18 years of age and has been wearing stable prescription glasses for at least two years.
* Have sufficient corneal thickness.
* Has nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, or a combination of any of the three.
* Has no other disease.

The San Diego LASIK clinic is a good clinic to go to if you think you are a good candidate for LASIK treatment. They have the best advanced technologies, friendly staff, and an affordable price. Nevertheless, if your San Diego LASIK Surgery ophthalmologist tells you that you are not a good candidate there’s no need to lose hope. With the many advances in laser technology, the capabilities of LASIK are sure to grow over time. Consult the people at this site, in that case as they will help you decide. Who knows, you just might get that 20/20 vision through LASIK in a few years time.

Health is Wealth

We are still considered to be a relatively young couple but high blood pressure runs on my husband’s side of the family so I was thinking of getting us blood pressure monitors just in case. I also need to get an automatic blood pressure monitor for my parents as they routinely check their blood pressure and I am not there all the time to do the readings for them. It is actually advisable to have a blood pressure monitor at home and for household members to know how to take blood pressure readings in case of emergency.

Southeastern Medical Supply Inc. offers medical equipment to customers at factory pricing. They also ensure that you will be able to find the best product lines in the medicine equipment field for less expense. For example, blood pressure cuffs retail starting from $14.95. They also offer sphygmamometers with stethoscopes as a package starting from $46.08. While most would still vouch for the better accuracy of manual blood pressure monitors (cuff with valves), automatic ones are also accurate provided that one ensures that fresh batteries are used all the time. They actually have a special on the UA-851 V Auto-Inflate Blood Pressure Monitor from $89.95 to $59.95.

Get Yourself Tested.

Here are some STD hard facts:
In the United States alone, the alarming STD statistics is growing larger. Out of five people, one of them will have an STD. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that around 19 million new infections occur each year, almost half of them among people ages 15 to 24 including male and female.

While the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend annual STD testing even for adults in monogamous relationships, the costs can make them think twice about doing. At National STD Testing they offer confidential std testing at a low cost. Because STDs are usually asymptomatic, do not assume that you or your partner is not infected just because you do not show any symptoms. An STD can be present for years before they become symptomatic and by then the STD has already progressed, so the only way to know for sure if you or your partner has an STD is to get an STD test.

Bottom line is, get tested.

There are now same day std testing centers which will allow you to know the results in days instead of weeks. National STD Testing work with a large network of laboratories throughout the county to ensure that same day STD testing is available to those who want it.

Managing Phobias With Priligy

Do you know someone who refuses to stay on the thirteenth floor of a hotel, or always skips the thirteenth step on a staircase? They could be superstitious, or they could have triskaidekaphobia, an abnormal fear of the number thirteen. You’ve probably read horror stories about people with taphephobia, the fear of being buried alive, or laughed at Indiana Jones and his ophidiophobia, fear of snakes. Although we laugh, and sometimes cringe, at phobiacs’ behaviors and phobias’ crazy names, we need to understand what causes phobias and how they can be treated.
We all have fears, but not everyone has a phobia. Phobias are anxiety disorders. These can develop from a frightening experience you had as a child or simply be your brain’s improper reaction to certain stimuli. One of the primary ways to treat phobias of any sort is through cognitive-behavioral therapy. This kind of therapy helps you to control negative thoughts so that you think differently about the thing that causes you fear. Patients could be exposed to their fear in different ways so that they get used to seeing or experiencing it.

Along with therapy, certain anxieties may require medication. SSRI, or selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, are commonly used to treat people with severe anxieties. People who buy Priligy may know that this drug works by treating the patient with short-lasting SSRI. For people with phobias that affect many areas of their life, like sufferers of glossophobia (fear of speaking in public) or other social anxieties, treatments are more long term; they are generally prescribed SSRI drugs like Prozac.

Some phobias may be very manageable. Zemmiphobiacs can easily avoid the great mole rat, and people who have samhainophobia (fear of Halloween) are likely to be affected only once a year. But if phobias are affecting your life, you will find they are manageable and treatable when you find the right resources.

What You Need to Know About Viagra

For many men, erectile dysfunction can be an embarrassing and frustrating condition. However, it is not that uncommon, with men from all ages and walks of life who deal with it every day. The good news is that ED is treatable. Visiting your doctor and discussing your condition is crucial to determining the underlying cause and then finding the right treatment option.

What Is Viagra?

Many men treat ED with Viagra. This is the most popular as well as common drug prescribed, and helps men to achieve and maintain an erection.

How Does Viagra Work?

In order to get an erection, when physically or mentally stimulated, blood flows to the penis, causing it to enlarge and remain enlarged. In many cases of ED, these blood vessels don’t open enough for a man to achieve and maintain an erection. Viagra works by opening up the blood vessels that supply blood to the penis and cause an erection. After taking Viagra, it typically starts to work within an hour and continues to work for about 4 hours, meaning that if stimulation occurs within four hours, an erection can be achieved and maintained.

Are There Any Side Effects?

As with any medication, there are bound to be side effects to Viagra. Some of the most common side effects reported include headaches, flushing, blurry vision and dizziness.

Is Viagra Safe?

For the most part, Viagra is considered a safe and effective drug to take to help with ED. However, it has been known to potentially cause a condition called “non-arteritic ischaemic optic atrophy,” which can lead to blindness. There have been several cases of this reported throughout the UK as well as the US.

Viagra can be an effective drug for treating ED, but it’s important to talk to your doctor to see if it’s right for you.

I’ve been working 12 hours a day since Tuesday and I mean I’ve been either typing, looking up sites for information or dabbling in Photoshop. I haven’t even had time to go and visit Facebook :) . I would like to think it’s a new work ethic of mine but really, it’s just too much work deadlines that I need to meet before the weekend.

Yesterday I had to force myself to rest for a few hours as my the space between my thumb and forefinger begin to ache. I know the signs, so I told myself I need to take a break, or else all the money I will earn will just go to therapy. Of course, we are not talking about Mesothelioma treatment here but carpal tunnel syndrome is a serious ailment and I’d like to have my hands as strong as ever until the day I die, thank you very much.

Here are some exercises I strongly recommend for people who use their hands in work do everyday, even three times a day if you work for long periods of time:

Here are some exercises intended to help prevent carpal tunnel syndrome. Remember doing a quick five minute exercise warm-up before starting work, just as runners stretch before a run, can help prevent work-related injuries.

Extend and stretch both wrists and fingers acutely as if they are in a hand-stand position. Hold for a count of 5.

Straighten both wrists and relax fingers.

Make a tight fist with both hands.

Then bend both wrists down while keeping the fist. Hold for a count of 5.

Straighten both wrists and relax fingers, for a count of 5.

The exercise should be repeated 10 times.
Then let your arms hang loosely at the side and shake them for a few seconds.

Lucky Good Eyesight

I am fortunate that being in front of the computer more than 12 hours a day everyday for the last eight years haven’t given me poor eyesight (yet). Last year, I got the scare of my life when my eyes hurt a lot for almost two weeks and I saw glare spots in my vision. It usually is indicative of glaucoma. Since my grandfather had it and it’s genetic, I was scared. Good thing it was just good ol’ eyestrain and an optometrist friend gave me anti-eyestrain glasses for free. Now I use them especially when I anticipate long hours in front of the computer for work. I still have 20/20 vision! I hope it won’t change.

My youngest sister has the poorest eyesight among us siblings and she needs to wear eyeglasses all the time or else she is virtually blind. She wears contact lenses during formal events and when she goes out to parties though. My mom supplies her with disposable contact lenses all the time. Acuvue oasis is a brand they are familiar with. The stores where you can buy Acuvue oasis contacts and their prices can be viewed PriceContactLenses.com. I particularly like how I can choose which store to go to after seeing the prices which they retail them. They also cost out the average price per box in a store. It’s a great site to bookmark if you are looking for ways to save on lenses – you get to replace every few months so you need to get the best deal when it comes to pricing!
