It feels good to scrap
ETA: Now that I think of it, I think I’ll redo this later, the number should be on the other side.
Edil, I think, has gotten something into him. He actually likes coffee (or collecting the stickers – go figure). I had another round – this time Peppermint Hot Mocha (coffee na ba eto Mare?! HA!
) while reviewing Matthew for his test tomorrow (today). I captured his face while he was trying to spell “perpendicular”
. Edil tended to Martha who saw my red cup and thought (I think) it was something nice. She absolutely threw a fit until I let her drink the cup, of course with the opening on the other end. And she actually “sipped” more than once. Feel na feel nya na umiinom talaga sya. Pinainom pa ako mga two times. LOL

Traffic at Roxas was sooooo bad I wasnt able to attend. MOA would have been nice for a dinner capped with coffee with the husband. We promise to sneak in a dinner at CliffHouse when we go up to Cavite on the 21st for the holidays.

When it rains, it pours. Matthew has the sickies. His ear infection came back, worse, this time I think it has progressed. Hearing loss is noted. The Mommy feels the guilt. I could have pretended this. If only I was more vigilant. I am a nurse, for crying out loud. All systems go for prevention. Take note, hearing loss is irreversible.

I swear I am weaning her off the binkie.

Things get better. Today I am reminded that things can be icky and not really NICE, but as long as what is important remains solid and true and grounded, one can surpass everything. Take note of Martha’s cute face. Her signature smile for the week.

I promise that next year I will make my SLR’s price worth it. If I knew how to use my camera well, this would have been a nice shot – scratch that – an awesome shot. Save for the binkie of course. They love hanging out in the sofa to watch the lights on the tree, which as of the moment I write this, I want to switch to white.

Nebulizer. A constant sight at the house this week. Martha had an asthma attack and needed everything – nebu, steroids, inhalers, antibiotics — the works! When the kids got sick, I felt the Christmas magic lessen. A Mother’s Worry. Perfectly normal.
