Yay! The Christmas Album is at least 50% done!! I cannot believe how easy it is to do this! I have been scrapping for the last two days and was able to finish the majority. Lessons learned: 1) Plan and be organized. 2) Journal in your notebook (or BLOG!) — there are entries which are blog entries. 3) Take PICTURES!
Im trying to finish this before January 15 to take advantage of the 20% off from Shutterfly. I scored a great deal off Ebay ($7.75 for 5 Shutterfly Calendars!) and plan to make a calendar for my in-laws and their families too

Matthew’s 7th Birthday.
Four Days Before Christmas.
I cleaned the house as much as I can and the husband miraculously wrapped the gifts (Im tamad). Now, wala na talaga akong gagawin ever. Im kicking back to enjoy and indulge in the season.

I have been having a blast reconnecting to what I loved first – writing by hand. I have discovered that words flow naturally, and that they are more real. I wish I can have my handwriting back the way it used to look though.
12.20 My favorite day of the year (Out of the Ordinary no events type of days!)

**These are all SOOC (straight out of the camera). I am finally venturing into manual and it excites me, hahaha (after a million years)

This was a Saturday and I came home late as I needed to finish work. I came home with the kids both on the computers. One was watching Barney on YouTube and the other one was playing some war game.
Boo Boo on her knee. A First. She went to my aunt’s place which had a big yard, a swimming pool and a basketball court and spent ages there. Feeling nasa Amadeo uli. She scraped her knee and didnt even cry said the yaya. But guess what she did upon seeing us? Show us her ouchie and make pa-sad face. Ang arte.

I think a lot of you got interested with the Photo-a-Day project
This wasn’t really my idea – you can see it in scrapping galleries everywhere. Jessica Sprague conceptualized the idea and even gave away a nice, useable template.
I hope you join along — it so nice to really document everything everyday promise
. Even if it is really ordinary stuff, kahit na paulit ulit.
You can find awesome inspiration in these galleries: Steph’s and Mollie’s.
And if you are looking for some REAL inspiration for next year, look at Anna’s awesome weekly year in reviews. Seriously awesome stuff. She is doing a Photo a Day for December too. Look here.
And can I give you another super nice project?
Look at this super nice layout (she has versions for all kids – here, here and here). Nice no? This will look great with the kids. Knowing me, I have hundreds of their pictures. (Even kaming dalawa ni Edil). She used the template here.
