Yes. Well, maybe the big ones lang. The boxes are so old and dusty anyways (we got them on sale), and it will take time to assemble everything. LOL. I will wrap the little gifts though.

And well, Matthew took out the stockings and said we need to fill it with candy to give out to kids who sing outside every night. I notice there are a few kids who sing carols these days. They just knock on the door and ask for food . So sad.

Im done with Christmas shopping — even if we are not exactly done yet. LOL. Suko na ako. I am so done aiming for a perfect Christmas when I can just sit back, relax and enjoy the season diba? As long as the kids are done and we have pressies for the oldies (read: my parents) OK na un. All my other gifts are still on transit, so they will get tiered gifts anyways. LOL

Last night, I got tired of our red and green Christmas tree lights. So what did I do? I re-did our tree. Grabe. Di ko lang talaga sya ma-take. I took lots of pictures though. Will upload them later on Flickr. My mom will be home tonight and I am so sure she will scold me for not having a Belen but a tiny Christmas village. I was looking for a belen kaso wala na ako makita sa SM (Ayoko na makipagsapalaran sa Divi at Tutu) Any suggestions where?

I have been working all weekend so I can start not going to work on Friday (Matthew’s birthday) so I might be scarce. Ill be finishing so many assignments since I cant promise I will like to go online once we get to Amadeo. (We need to get pala bonnets for the kids. My mom told me it is freezing and windy at night na dun).

So far, before we go to Amadeo I have only requested two things from Edil. We buy bibingka in Ferino’s and puto bumbong in a place in Abad Santos na super like ko. Plus sana we can attend simbang gabi in UST kahit one night lang. I love USTe’s lights during Christmas.

Im not worrying on our Noche Buena coz my Mom will take care of it. We usually go to Lolos and Lolas anyways so wala talagang problema.

Ano pa ba? Am I missing something pa?

It seems the holidays are truly upon us! Everybody has been so busy, including me!

Jane asked me what will be our holiday schedule this year. This year my parents will celebrate the holidays with us after 2 years of spending it abroad. Yay! After taking Matthew out on his birthday on the 21st, we go straight to Amadeo and stay there until Christmas Eve. Christmas Day will be spent in parts. In the morning, we trek to Bulacan for the reunion we have in our mother’s side of the family (paternal). Edil plans to squeeze in an hour with my in-laws in Valenzuela. Then we go to Makati to visit my Lola in my mother’s side of the family (maternal). The we go (finally) to my dad’s mom, Lola Rose, in QC.

Gosh, writing it all down has made me tired. Edil cannot drive (he’s banned! LOL), and my Dad isnt fit enough to drive — which means we need to find a driver pa. *sigh*.

Oh my. This was the post that was supposed to be my post on the day Trillanes made a dramatic show at the Pen (only to surrender after 15 minutes. Kainis. He should have let himself be killed — magiging hero pa sya. Sorry for being tactless ha, pero nainis talaga ako dun.)

Anyway, onto the story.

We went to the nearest SM (where else?! ) on November 29th after I arrived from work. Since I was so worked up doing the Shutterfly album, I told myself I might as well get a picture of them for December. And to have Xmas cards din (I was not planning on doing this since nobody in my side of the world does that anymore, pero what the heck, I had free coupons so might as well use them.) The night before Edil and I tried (HARD) to get them into a frame together but Matthew didnt like to take pictures (I swear in a few years he will not do any pictures anymore) and Martha was being soo makulit. So I was resigned to have them in a studio.

I originally planned to get them into Great Image on a white background because I have plans of altering naman them as well. But they don’t give hi-res copies so Edil told me to try na lang DigiPrint. So we went.

So initially we inquired (it was my first time there), and their price was cheap. 30P for a 5R print, when you have your picture taken from their studio (no studio sit-in fee). So pwede na. My budget was only P300 kasi I was really just after for good light and a white background.

First try. The two of them seemed to be in coke overdose I swear. Matthew is naturally behaved but he was sooo all over the place that day. Of course, Martha being the shadow, she was all over the place too. And Martha did not want to smile. She would stop for a while then smile then dash off to play. Nakakaasar! So after 15 minutes, we decided to take a break. The saleslady was kind enough to tell us na bumalik na lang kami (Wala naman bayad daw).

“Goooood Moooorning!!!!”
If you know the Lucky Me noodles commercial, that was how I greeted my morning today. Even if I was 7 minutes late for work today because my beloved son who is seven going on seventeen threw a tantrum because he didnt want hotdogs for breakfast. Even if Martha woke up at the ungoldy hour of 6AM. Even if Martha is on steroids to curb an acute asthma attack, which the pedia resident on duty at the ER didnt notice when we made the ungodly trip at freaking 3AM in the morning last Monday morning. Even if Im hallucinating with all the to-do lists.

Because I feel I have been dwelling on a pity party the past two weeks. Things have been pretty tight and bumpy with the husband because of stupid things people do. But in a marriage, you just need to hold on tight when the ride gets pretty bumpy. I have to admit, things can get crazy around me and Ill be unperturbed. Throw in a family problem and Im in shambles. LOL. Everything is good though, no worries Just a little stupid stupid

I leave with you with this as a starter post for a marathon blogging event today LOL. To make up on the two days I havent posted.

Are you doing a photo a day for December? Im doing one. I dont know if I will or can scrap them. I just want to take one photo a day . With this one, it was taken the usual round up before sleeping. I really love this picture save for Martha’s binkie. She looks so grown up already! Most of her baby clothes don’t fit anymore.

And Glo will get the scare of her life when she learns my son is using the Rebel to take pictures already. Case in point:

We were taking pictures and then the kid goes, “You two naman.” Aint my son sweet? Galing no?

Because I thought better now than never .
And, Edil was so cooperative today! We had accomplished so many things today I kinda wish everyday was like this, hahaha.

The lights and exactly 6 balls and 4 diamond shaped ornaments are on the tree. Im itching to buy more, but Im trying to hold my money to make it last until Christmas na talaga. Outfits na lang, and we are done. Well, there is the gift for Edil, but Im finding ways to sneak that in the budget without him knowing.

We are still not done, hence the close-ups . Tamad na kasi kami – nagMarimar na and we needed to get the kids to bed already.
