For me that is
.
I go back to work tomorrow.
Today we slept in, Martha and I, after being awake at 5AM because I need to prepare Mato for school. He is on a school bus now, after much crying. And we now have two maids, I hope they last (kahit hanggang March lang please) – one is a cook and the other one takes care of Martha.
We are going to her pediatrician to have her tuberculin test measured (based on her arm, Im sure she has Primary Complex) and then off to Mato’s dentist. Last hurrah for everything else.
Be back with my health update

Yay! The Christmas Album is at least 50% done!! I cannot believe how easy it is to do this! I have been scrapping for the last two days and was able to finish the majority. Lessons learned: 1) Plan and be organized. 2) Journal in your notebook (or BLOG!) — there are entries which are blog entries. 3) Take PICTURES!
Im trying to finish this before January 15 to take advantage of the 20% off from Shutterfly. I scored a great deal off Ebay ($7.75 for 5 Shutterfly Calendars!) and plan to make a calendar for my in-laws and their families too

Im sick of eating, I swear. LOL. We passed by a total of THREE houses on Christmas Day all of them with tables full of holiday food. I honestly got sick just looking at them. LOL. I ate a little of everything (no rice!) but I was looking for my grandma’s paella. She really cooks it well (one of a kind). As always, too much overdose of sweets – cakes, pastries, cookies, salads, etc. I really need to get serious in losing weight next year. Everybody was commenting and asking what happened to me! (You know how Pinoys are!)

It is back to work for me tomorrow!

We had a very nice Christmas — busy, tiring but really fun. The kids had a blast opening all their toys, which was really something else. Christmas really is for the kids. We (the family) didnt give each other anything, but it was so nice seeing the kids (there were only two apos, mind you) opening their presents. Matthew was all smiles (he didnt want to get any picture taken all thoughout the night, I swear, that deserves another story! LOL), but he gamely posed for this:

Mainly because it was time to open pressies

LBC made good on its promises.
Peachy delivered the crocs. OMG, Martha didnt want to take it off – no exaggeration. Matthew was excited – primarily because he told me there are little things he can stick them with (Pokemon Jibbitz) that he saw in Comic Alley – QUE Horror! Pati sapatos, Pokemon (anu ba yan!).
Then Glo’s package came
(Tama ka Mare, super mega sayang ung space, kasya na dun ung package na isa! Next time, we will be better! Promise!) My planner was oooh lala, and I have new sandals, a dozen pens, Martha has new shoes, then the Advent Calendar is here! LOL A little late but at least we can have it early for next year
Then I scored some nice deals at SM regarding the kids’ pajamas. I got them matching sets (red, white and green) with the other one @ 50% off. I wasnt particularly crazy about Martha’s but she looked awfully cute when she tried it on. I got some really cheap jackets for Edil and me at Surplus as well.
Little bits little bits, excited na ako

2 Days to go and I can finally enjoy the season.
You know what’s nice? I have alloted some really loooooooooooong time before I go to sleep to write down what I feel, what I learned, what Im scared of, and from there, I dont know how to describe it, pero parang I end like up Im praying.
I missed being close.
I have been spiritually dry for the longest time. And no matter how hard I try to find Him, parang I cannot see Him. (Though I know He is always there) – parang wala lang, Im just dry.
But those little long moments I allot for myself and Him has done wonders to me.
Last night I was tearful when I wrote what happened to my Dad. See, his CPAP machine broke, and when you have COPD, you need to have that machine all that time. Worse, Martha was the one who broke the CPAP machine! My mom told me she cant go to Manila because my Dad passed out during Simbang Gabi because the whole day he was helping in the construction of the shrine
.
And then I felt the need to really preserve this Christmas, you know. For all we know, we might never be complete like this. Abbie is leaving. My Dad’s health is not at its finest. We have plans. I might go out of the country. Edil might need to work on another country. We will never know.
And this is the first Christmas I will have with my parents in 2 years. I guess the reason why Ive been so giddy this season is I can finally focus on something else rather than who needs who, what gets done, which house to go to.
For all I care. If it were left all up to me, we will be holed up in the shrine until New Years.

I told you Im done with the mall but I was there. Again. Last night.
Hehehe.
Baka bukingin ako ni Peachy (Nagkita kami dun eh).
In fairness, we went there to buy some hooks for the glass balls still in need to be hung. And some Starbucks (I sell planners but Edil wants to complete stickers, labo mehn. Para sa akin daw yun — gift nya. Pero ako bumibili ng kape namin. Pano naman un?! LOL). But the line was so long so we decided to buy pizza from Yellow Cab na lang.
While we waited for our order, Martha ventured to the stalls from the toy section. So in the end, I checked out a talking mobile phone and sketch doodle (Lokong salesman un binigay sa akin 499, meron palang 268 lang. Buti na lang mas gusto ni Martha ung Pooh kaya nakita ko).
So to be fair, I gave Edil moolah to go to Tutu to buy lots of small stuff for the boy – anything Pokemon of course.
It’s hard to buy na for Matthew because “anything cute” doesn’t mean anything to him these days. He really knows what he wants na.
And Joy, di pa kami tapos magshopping. Kaso wala ng pera kaya tigil shopping na talaga, hahahaha! We dont’ have clothes yet, because I cant seem to find nice navy clothes. The only requirement I really have for myself is to buy some bonnets and sweaters for us before we go to Amadeo. Edil doesnt have any jacket (me neither) and the kids only have one pair (I think). Im sure Ill find so many nice stuff at Surplus. Again, I should’ve planned this months in advance already.
