Manila. Manila.

I keep coming back to Manila.

Harhar.

The heat here is killing me. We are treating Amadeo like Quiapo with the way we go back and forth these days. (The prices of FUEL!!!! OH MY GAWD!!!!) Edil and I are taking turns “discussing” (with high and low notes) things (things meaning where to enroll Matthew, to buy a ref or get the humongous one at my in-laws, buy a washing machine or install a water tank, what to take from all the fab stuff we see at furniture stores, what time do we go home, home meaning Amadeo, or should we stay here in Manila until he gets to take a leave next week - I dont want to sleep in the new (big) house with three rooms with me and two people under SEVEN! Hello! Takot ako sa moomoo no!)

That might be the longest afterthough with parentheses. Anyhow, those little big things are getting to us. One minute, we are shouting at each other, the next minute we are hugging and the next minute we are trying to break the kids apart. Gosh, the way my kids fight you wouldnt even know they are five years apart. My daughter is a spitfire I tell you. She is no longer Martha Maldita but Martha the Monster - ask my Dad. LOL.

Shall we go this day by day or category by category? LOL. I really dont know where to start.

I have a lot of posts to read - Ive been hopping and skimming entries in Google Reader - I just dont have time to really comment. Im sorry about that. I dont know how long until life gets back to normal in my side of the world. I miss twitting and chatting and just “hanging around” the web these days, LOL.

Where Have I Been?

Well we are trying to move. Right now, each step has been done in phases and we are doing OK. It is going as smooth as I have never expected, thanks to people who love my parents, hehehe. I had over three boxes of shoes and clothes to sell, most of them baby clothes of the kids and believe it or not, they were gone in an hour. Most of them sold at 20pesos to 50pesos so the extra money I got will go to buying little knick knacks for the house. Im enjoying the time with the kids but am still struggling on how to get some me time. But all, in time. The good thing is Im still lucky, each time I sit down to check me email, I get more work :)

The Next Week is the week…

..where everything supposedly falls into place.

I wont be reporting for work next week (using up all my paid leave credits) because we hope to finish really moving and settling in the house by next week.

I also need to get the kids to their pediatrician (and Martha to her pulmo and Matthew to his EENT doctor) for the check-ups (Last Maxicare check up - bawal na magkasakit! LOL). I also would be getting my procastinating self and submit myself to lab work-ups at a clinical laboratory service near our house so I can hopefully get a clean bill of health. Then back to my OB to check my PCOS.

What else? Oh, bills.
Then I need to have Matthew registered. We have three schools we are deciding on and the deciding factor would be if they have a bus service to our place, LOL.

The House.

So I have been not talking about the house yet. The house isnt the original house we wanted, but the one we did close was also OK. It is a bungalow with three rooms (big ones) and very very large backyard and garden outside. It even has a garage. It is near public transportation and the market so I feel everything fell into place as it is. We are moving with basic stuff (read: aalog alog kami panigurado) but we will make do. What I love is the outdoor area, the dormant housewife and green thumb in me is actually wanting to make a blooming garden and plant jalapenos and kalamansi at the backyard! Heehee. Edil wants to have some teak patio furniture outside (or a bahay kubo or swing set) but all this has to wait. So many expenses it’s really scary!

I just pray. It works!

Move.

We move this week. We will be moving out most appliances first - after we change doorknobs and change lighting fixtures. Oops, we will do a general cleaning first. Then we move in by Sunday. I know I have been eagerly anticipating this huge change since last year but when it is happening it is still overwhelming. We will be applying cable and internet lines and look a school service for Matthew’s school AND get him enrolled. So please understand if I tend to ramble on and one sometimes. It is hard to form a coherent post these days (but hey you know I need to write right?)

But, the good thing is my Dad will give me the treadmill he has here. It is a fitness equipment I will need when I get bored with the house (I doubt that will happen with the kids).

Oh, the yaya is back.

Gameplan Today.

So the gameplan today is tackle our room which houses 80% of all our stuff.

The biggest hurdle will be our clothes.
And I need those plastic containers to house my scrap stuff and nursing stuff.
The rest will stay here.
(I might have a RAK for my scrap magazines as I dont want Edil to notice I have more of that than my nursing books! LOL).

So I need to firm today. What hasnt been used in a year will have to go (my closet will be purged!)

Piles:
1. To Go
2. To Keep
3. To Repair

I better stop now since I dont think my post is all that coherent.
(no scrapping until tonight)

I also need to find a place for all of Edil’s promotional products. He has tons because he needs to give samples to doctors - pens, keychains, pencils, notebooks, cups, he has it!

Changes: First Stop

April is a month of changes.

First stop. We close the house. Provided that we will only be renting, this is the first time we will be living on our own so this is a huge step.

I will probably be on and off for a while this week and next until we sort what gameplan we will tackle the move.

Nakakakaba na nakakatakot.

This month will really be a leap of faith.

ARIL NA.

And of course Im so busy I had to post this three days into April.

April na.

And this is my to-do list for the first half of this week. I just was able to do 60%. I need to get cracking on the packing stuff.

This is a to-do list for the first half of the week.

And Jen, Im going to answer your question:
The planner was decided here. It’s a Mom Agenda and it’s big and thick but nice for organization. It came from PaperSource but I cant see them in the store anymore. Glo bought this at Ebay.
