We were lucky that Edil said yes we can go to another party in Manila. See, it really is tiring for him because he is the one driving and he was work, night shifts during Saturdays. He hasn’t had any sleep since 7am last Saturday because we were with Matthew for his Communion rites. After the party, straight from work, he took us home (he told us to sleep in Dimasalang because the kids got so many loots (no, a Samsung HDTV was not one of them – how I wish though
) – more on that later) – so before anything else, konting sipsip muna ::P Thanks Daddy!
It was so sulit naman even if it’s far and Saturday traffic was at its worst
Mateo’s theme was farmtown and it was really executed well from the invites down to the decorations in the venue to the cake and giveaways:

Pictures from L-R: 1) Mateo gave away Animaland plush toys to kids!! W-O-W
Matthew got the yellow dog named him Bingo and Martha got a moose and named him Elliott (she just watched Open Season kasi) Side kwento: Now Martha is staking her claim over Bingo (She loves dogs diba sabi ko na she get the bulldog ayaw paawat eh) and tells Matthew Elliott is his, which drives the big brother insane. 2) Pig balloon, which is now hanging in our door
3) Lovely set up, so many balloons! 4) Walking animal rides, which Marts loved 5)Farmtown cake – super nice!

I didn’t need to off on one of those orlando vacations, all I needed was to make sure I get to see this on its opening day:
Thankfully, I was able to watch it with fellow twi-fan friends. We scheduled to see on its opening day at Greenbelt and even if I was late (I slept on the bus!), at least I wasn’t late for the showing.
I will spare you the reviews for the movie because clearly I am biased and will always be subjective (you can always hover here and here though for my thoughts). It sucked, it rocked, whatever you thought it was, for me, it rocked
New Moon + Mushy Scenes + Hot Men + Good Food + Friends = Very Fun Mommy Day-off!
We ate at Chilli’s for lunch, watched the movie, ate some ice cream, then had cake at Conti’s. Only I got jealous of the pregnant friend’s craving (beside me), I ordered rice too – and the rest of us as well.
Now June 30, 2010 is blocked off our calendars so we can watch Eclipse

Matthew (and Edil) got lucky during Dom’s party because they were able to see WanLu perform. We saw him on TV because we watch Talentadong Pinoy and I heard about him from fellow n@wies in e-mail threads.
Matthew was such a huge fan – and it got better because he was called onstage to assist in one of his acts. WanLu was hilarious (he didnt need acne treatment as I initially thought when I saw him on TV *wink*), my stomach hurt too much from laughing especially from this scene:
Kudos to the nannies because they were so game!
Edil was starstruck, really – he would not admit it pero he really loved WanLu, hahaha!

My kids are social butterflies this month! We have been invited to five “bonggang” parties this month and we will try our hardest to be there in each one! Our first party for the month was the first birthday celebration of Peachy and Gelo’s fashionista baby, Dominique.
We went to Manila on Saturday so we would not be late for the 11AM party call time the next day. It was draining because we were not used to the weather (better than rain and storms I guess) but it was worth it.

The theme of the party was CandyLand and we were treated to Starbucks fraps and Cupcakes from Sonja’s!
(I ate a lot I might need colon cleanse treatment!) My kids (thanks to Mato) received a lot of prizes too – he was really happy about the Cars watch and the Crayola stuff he got (24pc twistables, colored pencils and markers) and Martha was happy with anything she got her hands on – we bought FOUR balloons home by commute! (imagine! hahaha!). Too bad I was not able to really make rounds with my friends as we were busy playing for the kids to win the games
One highlight of the show was the WanLu appearance which I will blog about later
Thank you Gelo and Peachy for inviting us and we wish Dom will grow up to be one healthy, pretty and nice young lady – parang anak lang ba ni William and Yayo (naks!). Sa uulitin.
Here is our family picture from the Party Pics Live Photobooth:

I have been Facebook-ing a lot lately. With that I have reconnected with three of my best buds from college. They are the only ones I have retained through the years and I consider them the friends I don’t see but are still near to me. I have been convincing them to hook up to the internet – get involved in Twitter, Flickr, get a blog (and read my blog) – but they need some more convincing.
They commented how I have a lot of friends now too, considering that I stay at home most of the time and only go out once or twice a month. I actually owe it to blogging – it has opened me to new possibilities for learning, money making and even real life friendships. It is amazing how us mommies found each other though blogs, started chatting over YM, went to Twitter, got Flickr accounts for private sharing of pictures and from there inched our way into each other’s lives. While my friends are amazed by this, some skeptical, and a few doubtful if these all lasts, I just savor the moment and am thankful for the lucky chance to meet real friends online.
So from marital woes and wows, kids, money making, saving and spending, travelling here and abroad (like booking the best Las Vegas hotels or which spots to see abroad), to politics, scandals, showbiz and more, yep, my daily grind will not complete without them.
Thanks a lot ladies!

Finally had some “me” time last Friday when I went to Mall of Asia to meet up with friends Kathy, Joy and Litzie. We were supposed to be eight (and more) but family emergencies, work, and other plans made it impossible for others to come.
Aggie | Litzie | Kathy | Joy
I remember the times when I was still single and I could spend the whole day talking with friends. I felt that that last Friday and it did me well – gave me more patience in dealing with the kids, made my husband happy (hahaha) because I was happy, and well, it was just good for my general being. I was not the mommy, the wife, or even the blogger who needs to work. I was just Aggie who wanted to talk (and listen).
I also tasted some great food – Starbucks’ new coffee blend, delicious lunch at Tokyo Cafe and yummeeeee crepes at Cafe Breton. I’m the only one in need of Lipofuze here as you can see, the rest of them are super skinny already (and yet eat as much as me!)
Thanks girls.
And just because I like my shades here:
Now I have baon to last me for the stressful month of June – school starts!

With the sun finally making its appearance more often these days, I am hopeful that we will be having good weather this weekend. Because it will be our family’s first outing trip for the summer (I know – we are already midway into summer vacation and we haven’t had any outings yet, my poor kids!).
We will be going to Tagaytay Highlands this Saturday with fellow mommy bloggers and our families. I really can’t wait to see them again and I am sure my kids will have fun with all the activities available at the place. So far, we have penciled in a trip to the feeding zoo and pony rides with the kids in the morning and a basketball game of the daddies right after. Then we will be eating lunch and afterwards, the kids can swim already!
I just don’t know if my kids, particularly Matthew, can wait that long. It is a good thing we are near the place, knowing our penchant for sleeping late. We plan to eat a heavy breakfast together Kathy and Alpha (and their families) at McDonald’s in Tagaytay around 8AM so we can go there together.
I need to prepare the kids’ things. I’m sure I’d need a big bag for my two kids PLUS the big kid – their daddy. I will not be swimming but I’d need to bring a set of clothes just in case I get wet from looking after the kids. As much as I’d love to be wearing a dress (because I’m sure we would be taking a lot of pictures) like this Guess dress at StyleHive.com, I need to be ready to run after the kids
So pants and a loose top is on the agenda to buy on the next coming days.

Finally had a lunch date with fellow twitter mommies at Sonya’s Garden last Sunday. This has been planned for months and we were so happy we finally pushed through with this. Planning a trip with kids in tow is always hard, it’s just really nice that all of us have families (and kids) who have fun together all the time.
What is better than the food at Sonya’s?
Pictures like this:

Thanks Alpha and Litzie for the pictures. I have more but that will be reserved for other posts
