I’m laughing as I am typing this as I feel like last Saturday’s party was such a HUGE occasion (well it is, but even Martha’s birthday nor my Dad’s ever got close to leaving THREE posts in just one blog alone, LOL). I know most of you understand. We need work, we need posts or else the sh*r*ff will be mad.

Here are the kids’ wish list:

Matthew:
When I asked him we were going to a party and there will be an exchange gift for kids, he immediately told me, “Mommy ung Tell Me Books ha.”

It’s a series (collection) of books we found at Toys R Us in Trinoma two weeks before. It costs around 300P each if Im not mistaken.

Just get us one from the rest, except the Tell Me What? and Tell Me Why?
My son will be ecstatic and I will forever be grateful you have spared me from a possible round of endless questions. I still need to complete them by Christmas. (If Sandy got Kuya Matthew, she might give the whole set….hahaha!)

Martha:
This one is hard – Id ask for shoes but your hair will turn grey looking for her size. Id ask for toys but we have two truckloads of boxes with them wherein she throws them one at a time. Id ask for dolls but she has seven of them, sitting with her on the sofa, sleeping with her on the bed, ALL the time, I seriously think I have seven children already. (Entry on that soon).

So Ill go really practical here:
Our Elmo and Barney DVDs are scratched beyond recognition. We NEED variety (well, I need one) or else Ill go crazy with Dora Seasons 1-3 playing all day (That’s 14 epis each mind you!).

So please give her Elmo and Barney DVDs – I dont mind if it’s pirated (just really nice quality). The 19-in-1 collection will be great, hahaha. (Basta wag ung Chinese ha, check nyo na lang).

And then if you have ABC and number board books (BOARD Books, nangpupunit na to eh) you can give it to her as well – Booksale has lots, I dont want expensive stuff. Masisira talaga.

Give it to her in a box and watch her go “WOW”. Lagyan nyo na lang ng Dora picture. LOL.

If that is too cheap for you (hahaha!), please get her 4T clothes – jammies for Christmas (pink, red or white), nice sets of casual clothes, it would be nice (Yes, 4T please).

I received a Twitter update from a Twitter Friend (Kathy, specifically) that it is only 100 days before Christmas. WOW, is that astonishing or what? It seems that this year just flew by. Am I just getting old or are the years flying by faster than I can live in it?

Anyway, online friends are getting into the holiday spirit already shopping for kids’ presents and planning Christmas parties! Yep, we are planning for it this early! We wouldnt want to have it the same time everybody is having it — and there are mommies who are due by November and December so we wouldnt want them to miss it.

Next month there is one weekend blocked for parties with friends online. Of course, we are to bring the husband and kids. While the kids need paraphernalia to keep busy in the form of toys, movies and books, we are still brainstorming what to do with the husbands so they can leave us alone IN PEACE to talk to death. Most of them play poker, are geeks when it comes to computers and anime, so they can talk among themselves. It seems we need cards to keep them busy. We might turn the hotel room we will be renting into a casino! Or better yet we just need to bring a laptop (I hope net access is there) and we can just play online! Online Casinos are becoming more popular these days with the latest online casino news saying that registration of players have almost doubled over the past years. The availability of a casino guide has helped with many casino reviews for the players to know which casino site to play.

I have been offline (well, not entirely, hindi lang talaga nagpaparamdam :P) for sometime (just disappeared from Twitter last Friday) and yesterday for the MBAP meeting. Argh. I have a valid reason

Offline: Firefox 3.0 sucks. Big time. Well, there are still a lot of bugs so dont download it so soon. I kept getting a page load error last Friday on most sites and I thought it was an ISP error on my end. The burning point was when my I could not even reach my own blog! So I checked using my Dad’s connection at their end and it came up. ISP not a problem. I thought the firewall of my Kaspersky was the problem. Disabled it. Error still there. I was literally crying my frustration - major Aggie tantrum about to erupt when Edil stepped in. He didnt know what to do. I was livid! LOL.

The solution: Googled. I googled “page load error” (the error of the websites) and found the thread from the Mozilla forums. Boo. Troubleshooted. The error went away.

The next day, FF kept on closing! Aba eh!
The solution: Uninstalled FF3.0, downloaded and installed FF2.0.

HAPPY Aggie.

Real Life: I was supposed to go to Manila for the MBAP meeting yesterday and was really going. But the kids wanted to go swimming and we did. We were alone in a nice new pool and I swam (first time ever this summer - summer pa ba?) so the kids are nognog again and Edil and I are sunburned. We swam from 1pm to 4pm (Atat the kidlets).

This explains why I can blog and surf like crazy because the kids are knocked out and Edil is sleeping soundly. We are to go to the Shrine and stay there for the mass and some bonding time with the grandparents. My mom has a pella pan I want to see. And we need to take pictures of the Golden Retriever puppies we will be selling.

By Tuesday, Im off to Manila for a tentative three-day work week - many many errands to do. I hope to meet my best friends and do some pampering if ever I get a huge separation pay from the company I worked for. Here’s praying.

Arent we wives first before becoming mommies? (Well, me excluded, because I became a mommy before being a wife! HA!)

For the first time in months, I was able to go out at night on a Friday! WOW! (Ang loser eh no?! LOL)

Things I Learned on a Friday Night:
1. Im a normal mom.
2. Im a VERY normal wife (heehee).
3. I have a very normal and healthy obsession with Gong Yoo (Thanks again Joy!)

And,

1. that I need to aspire to be like Apols (P2 Skilled Worker) and trust my instincts and just risk it.
2. that Thea can take over Apols in arranging meet-ups
3. that Jody needs to take getting BE cosmetics here SOON, as in now na!
4. that Apple needs to teach me how to get Martha behave like a girl and write alphabets at two! WOW!
5. that Kelly needs to give a bit of her feminine ways. I wish I can be mahinhin and dainty like her!! Me utang sya sa how many times, hahaha.
6. that if ever I need help validating my anger, I can call Jacqui and have her husband call me. I also realized how you can admire one person overnight. Grabe, idol ko si Jacqui Hahahahaa.
7. that Mich needs to tell us how she can go on trips every month. And she needs to elaborate (her and Joy) how they got engaged so fast

Hay, I miss Glo and Wanda tuloy. I need to go to the US na. LOL.

Thanks for the night out I hope we earn as much as we talked last night.

O eto na, ako ata pinakahuling magbloblog about this, hehehe (Pasensya na naging yaya ako for how many days super ngarag lagi :). Edit: Hindi pala, di pa nagbloblog si Jacqui about it Hehehe.

OK. How will I start?

I honestly was surprised to receive an e-mail from Apols about the party. First (magpakatotoo lang no, hehehe), I really wasn’t friendly-friends with most of them (as in blog friends), and half of them I barely knew (pero malakas ang name recall kasi galing N@W). But then, Joy, Peachy, Mich and Jane were there so go na ako (Plus pala si Alpha na di naman pumunta. Hmph).

So the day of the party, as usual, I was ngarag. The maid chose the uncanny date to go on leave so di na ako nakapagpa-parlor tuloy Hehehe. Thankfully, my sisters were willing to babysit the kids (or else di talaga ako pupunta, did you notice how Martha was all over the place? Well, wala makakanotice kasi lakad lang sya ng lakad talaga, LOL). Tapos, si husband chose that day to be masipag and do the laundry (ang totoo nainis sya kasi di ko agad nasabi sa kanya…para syang artista na kelangan ng booking ha!).

Here’s an update to the Mommy Bloggers Meet Up - it’s pushing through!

Thanks to Apols for the efficient planning :). I don’t know if it is OK to share the details of the meet-up but DH and kids are welcome In fact, we are meeting up in McDonald’s Greenbelt and Apols booked a McDo party so the kids can be entertained!
