I’m a bit disheartened today as I found about something that might affect us in a way. And before you think about anything else — it is really something work-related 
The Big Man is trying to tell me something but poor me, not used to listening anymore, cannot (for the life of me), figure it out.

I think I am suffering from mild depression these days (I dont want to say it’s hormones because then Im always ovulating and PMS-ing, hehehe).
See, I really havent really taken a break since we moved. Add to that the drastic changes I made in my life - it is a step towards the better, I know. But knowing myself, where I always plunge ahead ALL the time, I think I forgot to breathe. Now Im gasping for air.
Im so bored. Bored in the sense that I want to do something meaningful for myself. I am always busy. In fact I think I will never be able to talk to you for 5 minutes without interruption or me losing my thought mid-sentence.
I know, I know. Such is the irony of staying at home and taking care of the kids.
(We have maids, but the kids dont like them and I cant even take a bath nor poo without Martha banging on the bathroom door, it’s driving me crazy!)
So maybe the lack of energy and desire is making me quite lethargic, always hungry and sleepy - yep, mildly depressed, I think.
And no, not pregnant!!!!!
And as Im done writing this, I think I feel slightly better already.

I think I just need a break. I really want to go out of town (well, we are technically out of town! LOL), but really unwind - change of scenery. I can save up for a Tagaytay trip or a Hilton Head rental.

I havent been posting a picture of me for the longest time (I think since I became a SAHM) - so there you go. I gained weight this week (well, I think the past weeks, LOL) — too much sugar, too much salt, barely any water (could be the PMS talking too - the search for the best diet pill from diet pills review can now be stopped!). My hair can be tied now - so I need to get a haircut (I just want to get it done in Manila kasi), too many zits on my chin and the other side of my hair has too many white strands already. I desperately seek some pamper-me-time, but I know it will take a looong time before I can leave my kids alone - ever since I stopped working, I think I need them more than they need me. It is a bit vague but if you are in the same boat, Im sure you would be nodding your head in agreement with what I just wrote.
Hmm…people send me e-mails and ask me what do I these days. I always draw a blank - what do I do really? It seems that everyday just passes by with me mentally reviewing what happened and all I can come up are mundane stuff - blog, work a little, plan a little, once the kids wake up, I lose me time and just steal minutes which really doesnt accomplish anything.
It’s a far cry when I was still working when I can list all the things I have done or accomplished.
But what I accomplish these days are not really the small stuff you can list.
What I accomplish these days are investments on my kids - and whatever I sacrifice, give, teach them - they are all going to reflect someday.
My kids are blooming and making huge progress.
That’s something immeasurable for me.
So screw looking fugly for now. I can always steal time for myself when everything settles down. Soon.

We are off to a much needed R&R to Tagaytay in a couple of days. It is not as good as the Outer Banks rentals Ive been reading about - but we get to stay in a nice resthouse, restaurants are near, there is a pool - we are going to be all good.

Let’s start the show with me at my very first birthday. I was cute - but you can see I had no traces of being a (big) girl.
You wouldnt even know I was born with curls if I didnt post this picture!
When I went to my Wawa for a vacation, she cut off my Goldilocks curls. My mom was livid. My curls didnt grow back. I dont know if I should be thankful for Wawa for that
As you can see, I was kikay back then. That red lingerie was my fave dress, and it was bought at the SM Dept. Store - I actually wore it as often as I see it my cabinet. My mom told me I told her that I am sexy when I wear that. (Me landi na talaga, bata pa lang :))

Everything is just bittersweet for me today.
Im struggling to find the right words for everything but tiredness is taking over me.
I have teased Glo mercilessly about this entry.
But last night when we went out to drive the kids (and passed Jollibee for drive-thru and looked at some garden decor offered along Banawe), Edil was naasar with the way I keep talking about food.
Like, I saw Razon’s. Thart, gusto ko ng halo halo. Closed na. Sayang.
Chowking na lang. Closed na. Sayang.
Me Starbucks ba dito (We were in Banawe).
Umuwi na tyo, pwede ba. (Si Edil to).
So I kept my mouth shut. Until we saw Tinapayan (You arent a bonafide USTe student if you havent heard about this). I HAD to go down and buy cream puffs and brownies.
Sabi ni Edil, “Para kang balikbayan ha.” (Upon hearing me say, “Syet, ang sarap.”)
Hehehehe.
I wish I can blog and scrap more but I cant. The mind is willing, the body weak. Let’s try tomorrow. Gnyt guys.
That is me these days. No amount of list-making nor plan-making can get my mind to focus. So in the end, I procastinate, get overwhelmed and not get anything done.
Im counting the days until I finally stop working, which only means I will work more with the house move. Who said I can tackle such huge life changes must be kidding me - Im on the verge of a major adult tantrum and things are heating up with me and Edil because of pressure. So I get stressed which delays my period and I get stressed more. LOL.
Anyhow, Im still here - hanging by a thread. I hope sunshine and rainbows are to be seen at the end of this very rocky road.
Working with customer service makes me a very demanding customer as well. I KNOW what I should GET as a customer and it unleashes the dakdakina in me once I do not get what I EXPECT.
Case in point, I called the forwarding company of the box Glo sent me using my cellphone on Thursday. Box at customs. Please call.
I called Friday. Scheduled delivery on weekend. I requested to know exactly what time since we need to go to Amadeo. Please call to verify.
I called Saturday THRICE using my cellphone. I called at THREE hour intervals. First, box still unloading. Second, box still unloading. Third, I told them I wouldnt be able to wait for the delivery so I requested they deliver the box on Monday so that walang maiinconvenience sa amin.
Fine. Noted Ma’am.
Sunday I saw a note saying they attempted to deliver but I wasnt at home.

So I called again, at 11AM today. First I asked who I was speaking with. Turns out she was the exact same person I talked to all the time. So I tell them, the box needs to be delivered today as starting tomorrow we will be on a trip out of town for a month. Sagutin ba naman ako ng Next week na lang Maam, schedule ko.
Anak ng pating. From this point on, I spoke straight English kesehodang di nya maintindihan.
Didnt you understand what I just said? Nobody will be at home starting tomorrow because we will be out of town. I was very very very specific about the requested schedule, you better deliver the box today, I need things in that box to take with me on my trip tomorrow (Palusot lang yun syempre).
Aba eh, tawagan daw uli ako.
Of course, mega taray na lola nyo. Ikaw din nagsasabi tatawagan mo ako, di mo naman ako tinatawagan eh. Since Thursday you told me you will call but you never did.
So ang ending, idedeliver nila tonight. By hook or crook.
Pasalamat sya mabait pa ako. Meron ako nakarating pa sa Corporate Level ang complaint ko.

The box arrived at 4PM. Naawa naman ako sa delivery men, coding sila and they had to push cart the box to our street from SM para di mahuli. Kasalanan ng office nila un eh.
Earlier today, Edil was using the computer and I was washing the dishes.
I called him out and said, “Thart, pachange yung tubig sa dispenser.”
Napatigil sya.
At natawa.
Akala nya kung sinong tambay ang niloloko sya eh.
Boses lalaki daw.
My voice is so hoarse Matthew is so enjoying the time-out he has been receiving - meaning, no utos, no shouting, no sermons.
