I seriously need more than a driveway alarm to remind me of some of the regular things I need to post in this blog.
I have been quite amiss posting our monthly family pictures on this blog. I knew that this year scrapbooking would take a backseat in my life so I just had two goals – 1. To be able to summarize what has happened with our family every month and 2. To have a decent enough family picture each month. So far, I have been successful.
Here are our family pictures from April to August.

I am going to do some serious catching up with what is happening in our lives here in the mountains soon. I just looked over my March entries and I think I only have one entry that can fill in my relatives on what is happening with us. (No, we haven’t had the luk of purchasing the dream HDTV we are wanting for ages) Let’s hope this post makes up for it.
History:
I have been so inspired upon reading this post that I thought I should do one myself every month.
I haven’t been able to write a post for February but I was able to make a page – I just put the journaling directly over there.

Now, onwards to March:
*This was actually an April (3rd) photo but it was close to March so I’m counting towards March

What have we been doing?
It was the beginning and ending for my kids. We were able to experience our first swim for the summer (hence the swimming picture). It was also the start of new interests for us. We also welcomed a new addition to our family – Scamp, our dog (a half Pekinese Shitzhu breed). Never ever thought I’d permit a dog to roam around our house freely – that goes to show how much I love my kids!

I have been so inspired upon reading this post that I thought I should do one myself every month. Luckily, even if I read this in February, I was able to take a picture of us last month.
- Edil has been going to the gym five times a week lately. It has been slowly beefing him up, which is good. I am noticing he doesn’t need to play Mafia Wars every time he goes home (or maybe because he can’t squeeze any playtime because I am always working). Give me three hours to play and he is done. He now finished one David Baldacci book a week, and I am really happy that he has discovered reading.
- Matthew has been a little tween in the house, always being the one to make sure to answer back and reason out, politely or impolitely. You cannot see it very well in the picture but his PSP is hanging around his neck – if he can sleep with it everyday, he certainly would.
- Martha has been drawing a lot lately, and has been keeping such odd hours sleeping. Her record breaking sleep time was recorded yesterday, at 9AM to 10PM! I had to keep her from napping today so she can sleep at a regular time. She loves Disney Princesses to a passion and often can be seen playing Sleeping Beauty with her Ate Caren.
- I now have my hair at its longest, and I am itching to cut it off almost everyday. I need to schedule an appointment to have it curled – so I can be done with my curiosity if it looks good on me. If it doesn’t, I can always cut it naman, diba? I’m trying to be introspective lately and really try to know myself, after all, it’s my birthday month
I also want to make sure I achieve things this year – momentous ones – before I turn 30. That may include silly things like getting an led tv, learn to drive or bike, or finally lose pounds since 2000.
