This is so late, but I am slowly catching up on things. Here is our family picture for March. Originally I wanted us to have a picture during the kids’ Recognition Day (fitting for March which is end of school) but things didn’t work out (didn’t have anybody to take a picture of us).

It has been one roller coaster ride for March. Busy is a term I often use yet it holds truer than ever with this month. Bring it on April!

Edil:
He just found out this week that his clavicle still isn’t healed and it will take 3 months before it fuses completely together. It will take up to a year before he regains full use of it. He can now move it – flex and extend, and he was encouraged to do some tricep exercises as long as it doesn’t require a pushing force and it is kept under 90 degrees. So basically, he is more frustrated. He is an active man and him not being able to spend his energy playing anything that involves contact sports (read: basketball) makes him sad. He has trouble sleeping again (all the unused energy!) so he has taken to task printing our pictures. Yep! I have a partner in memory keeping. Our frames in the house are updated with pictures. He even encouraged me to organize my scrapbook layouts! We have been staying more in the house, instead of going out. All in the name of trying to save and build up our emergency fund. We have been telling ourselves we will jog but we always wake up later than we planned.
Aggie:
Hello, I’m Aggie with the fatty liver. Ha! So I am finally labelled as sick and need complete food rehab and I’m trying my best to be a good girl. I don’t want to be diabetic when I am 35 or 40. Granted I am 80% sure of being one thanks to my genes, delaying it would depend entirely up to me. I also have been marketing my skills at work and exploring my options. Basically, I have potential bosses that might add to my monthly work income steadily. Things are always generally slow at the start of the year but I am expecting it to pick up by next month. I just need to be smarter with everything. With so many downtime at work, I have been able to arrange my scrapbook pages since 2005 and finish three albums (just pictures + words though). And Glee is back and I could not be any happier!
Matthew:
He is still into watching so many movies! They are now heavy into their schedules practicing for their Foundation Day and it’s going to be their dress rehearsals soon. I would post a picture here but decided to wait until the actual day so it’s better
His rhinitis has flared up because of the very cold weather and I am sure sinusitis attacks aren’t far from the horizon. He has the colds since last week. He still teases his sister all the time, not that he is to blame all the time. He is using the computer more often, browsing through Wikipedia all the time (hahaha, yes! NERD!) and hands me a list of movies to download all the time. He is at the point where he understands every conversation going on in the house so it gets embarrassing when we are out and he tells that we plan to buy a car, for example, when all of these are far——-off plans. LOL. We can’t help but notice the telltale signs of puberty are happening. He is fattening and the shadow of a moustache is slowly forming. Man perfume is also happening, especially if he comes home from school all sweaty and stuff. We are encouraging him to be active in sports or else he would end up like his Lolo. He takes pride in the fact that he got his looks from his Lolo but he is scared he will get fat as well. We tell him it won’t happen if he gets involved in a sport!
Martha:
OMG, where did my little baby go?

She is a babbler lately. We call her “epalogs” dearly. Everytime we talk, she finds the right moment to butt in!
Example:
Mommy: Thart, napanuod mo na ba ung — *Insert movie title** — here?
Daddy: Hindi pa eh, maganda daw yan.
Insert Martha: Oo Ma, ganda daw yan. Di ko pa nuod yan pero ganda daw yan, ganda! Download mo!
Less amusing:
Mommy: Matthew, ung kalat mo!
Matthew: *insert dabog dabog here*
Martha: Mommy ako di ako kalat no? Very good ako no? Tuya, ako di kalat, ikaw kalat. Linis mo na kalat mo! Lagot ka ke Mommy!
Matthew: Martha EPAL ka eh!
Martha: Mommy o! Si Tuya sabi epal ako! Di naman ako epal ako, Martha Blythe ako, diba no Mommy?
She also now is into Barbies, dresses and makeup! Would you believe she wears makeup when we go out? Just powder and a hint of lipstick from the makeup kit she received from her Lola. It doesnt happen all the time, she just wants to be pretty “like Mommy” when we go out, especially if I’m wearing makeup too. She is into the stage where everything needs to be “like Mommy” we even go out with matching colors. So if I wear leggings, you can bet she is in it too.
Her stutter is still there – but when bribed with candy, her tongue straightens. So I think with more practice we can do it. For example she says:
white – WAYP
pink – PAINK
paint – PAINK (see? It’s hard for us)
Kuya – TUYA
She now knows how to write her full name (MARTHA AVISO). She gets angry when I tell her to write Blythe too (BlYtHe – jejemon magsulat anak ko). She loves watching Special Agent Oso, Handy Manny and “Scooby Scooby” too. And since she watched Tangled, she wants to grow her hair long. So she told me she was so sad when her hair was cut. “Kelan to haba uli?” I tell her to comb her hair – so you bet she is always combing now

I need to find some information about the various retirement gifts marines have popularly loved and are in demand but one of my goals this year is to write more about us – so here we are, right now:
Edil:
His fractured clavicle is doing better. He still needs to wear a brace until he goes back to the doctor on the 26th, but he can now raise his right arm without wincing. He still cannot bear any weight, but he can shift gears when driving except for the fifth one. He watches movies every night if he can to unwind, as he is busy advertising his business (Clicky! Clicky!) and helping me with my projects. (Movies seen: Inception, Buried, Knight and Day, Just Wright, Salt). He is frustrated he cannot work out still and cannot wait until he is given the go signal to be able to.
Aggie:
I am quite concerned with some health issues right now. And I am trying to be more strict with budgeting and financing our money. I am quite distracted with scrapbooking again, scrapping for myself and for others. Everyday I am organizing small stuff here and there and yet I am frustrated that I am not accomplishing anything big.
Matthew:
He is the 5th in class, lower than we expected. He is first academically but conduct plays a big role in over-all ranking. So we need to work on some of his defiance issues. He watches movies every chance he gets and often is seen with his PSP on hand playing “Persona”. He is busy with school oftentimes, catching up with being absent for a week when we went to Disney.
Martha:
She is the 4th in class, higher than the previous school quarter and is more vocal. Lately she is into the “I want to be like Mommy” phase. She wants to dress like me, copying my outfits when we go out and oftentimes just wants Mommy ALL.THE.TIME. She loves playing with her Barbies and now can write her name (MARTHA).
