Edil was given a PDA at work this month since he just got regularized! Thanks to technology, he can now play games and read books while waiting for doctors at hospitals. Digital Ebooks are going to be his savior! He wants to get back to reading. BooksonBoard.com has over 190,00 e-books from major publishers and small ones. Day in and day out, people at the office have been discussing the advantages of having a credit card, which one to get, the high interest rates, getting in and out of credit card debt - and the 0% installment rates they can avail of this coming Christmas. I am actually thinking of getting one appliance on installment sometime - since during holidays, appliances go on very nice deals. But since I’m charging my NCLEX fees to my card, I thought it best to take it easy. I have very nice credit report history so credit card offers, even pre-approved ones, always get delivered to the house, but I am very content with only one card. As expected, my comments went down within days of having it fixed. So I write to my host, asking them to repair my table or database and then, as an afterthought, asked them if they can upgrade my WP version since this version is still 2.0 and from what I know, 2.2 na. I also believe na this is one causing my database to go down. So my host replies back saying na di nila kaya yun. @$Y^(_^#@$#($_@#+@#!!!!
*sigh*
So I send a red ticket saying that all they need to do is repair my DB table and I will take care of the rest. Nux, yabang no? I dont know how to do it though

Matthew and Edil likes to watch Anime movies in the computer a lot. Edil is too lazy and impatient to convert .avi files to .mpeg ones these days so they have no choice but to watch it on the computer. Meanwhile, I was upstairs, watching PlayHouse Disney Channel with the princess. I think it is time for her to be introduced to Barney again (She did not like the dino before). She is almost 18 months and if she is like her brother, during that time, her vocabulary and speaking skills will just explode. Matthew became a blabber to a straight talker overnight even I didn’t expect it. I told Edil we really need to add a TV downstairs, since my Dad took the one in the living room to Amadeo. It will make taking care of Martha easier - a TV with audio cables so it can be connected to a speaker so that music can distract the princess when the maid needs to do something else, like cook! However, it is not in the budget right now. AbtElectronics.com has free shipping though. I was looking for flat TV screens and found out that aside from offering appliances, they offer electronics as well. We might get from them some day.
It’s 3AM and I specifically woke up to do some work in peace. Now, my mind is going blank - what do I do first? Blog? Wait, Im doing it already. Scrap - what to scrap? Which layout to do first? I think the problem with me is when I get so many things to do in my list, I end up doing nothing at all because I feel so overwhelmed.
Oh, I know. I think I’ll go resize some pictures I took today. That will give me something to blog about and share with you guys

Hve you ever seen a door that opens like this? Chrysler cars open like this! I cant believe they have these types of doors - totally cool. Chrysler 300 accessories are expensive since it is considered a luxury car already. (I actually dont know much about this I had to ask Edil what does he think of Chrysler cars! :D). By the way, this type of door is called a suicide door. Installation is a bit complicated so professional installation is recommended

When we were in Sonya’s Garden, I kept gushing about the chandeliers and how authentically antique-looking they are. I have so many pictures of them but I still am so lazy to edit them. Do you have any tips on how to mass-edit pictures? I know I can routinely save time if I edit them once I import them from the camera. I read in one blog that once imported, she sorts them through, deletes pictures which are not really good, edits them - one in color, one in B&W, then keeps hi-res and web files. All of these are batch automated in PS. *sigh*
If only I have that kind of organizational bone.

Don’t get me wrong. We have a very nice desktop computer already. Sure, we can use a bigger screen, more memory and disk space, but it is holding out on its own, considering how much and how often we use it everyday. The Personal Computer or PC has been our source of earning money (for me and Edil), a source of learning and entertainment for Matthew and a source of stress release for me because I scrap digitally. Of course, with three of us sharing our desktop, we can sure have moments when we want to use it but cannot because it is not “our scheduled time” yet.
I have been partial to DELL because Glo swears by them - so I have been browsing at their site for some time now, and it seems I have found the notebook of my dreams :). I just hope my dream can somehow come true soon!

2. Try to get one blog renovated.
3. Fix clothes of the kids.
4. Scrap at least two layouts.
5. Do blog earnings accounting.
6. Write creative exercises.
7. Spend time OFF the computer, LOL.

9. Get Matthew’s old toys down from the cabinets - dust, so Martha can play with them already.
10. Buy extra batteries. Look for rechargeable ones.
11. Try to squeeze in some 20 minutes of dancing.
12. Get clothes that do not fit - set aside.
13. Clean shoes.
14. Make priority lists.
15. Join nursing forums

We really do not have any plans of travelling during the holiday season, except we are planning to spend Christmas Eve in Amadeo. Most of our family and relatives are here, and most of my relatives abroad are going home for Christmas! They took advantage of the cheap package holidays‘ packages being offered by most travel agencies. Since most flights and bookings occur during the holiday season, it is bound to be a very busy season. The Holiday Hypermarket offers cheap holiday packages online. I was supposed to post these a few days ago but life got busy.
During my rest days, I take care of Martha almost 95% of the time. That involves taking her out - well, reluctantly. I hate going out of the house and making tambay the streets of Dimasalang (yak, conyo). If you have been in our area, imagine me trotting an expensive SLR letting a toddler walk around 4 feet ahead of me ;). In my defense, I let her walk on a quiet street (mostly oldies live there - grandparents, friends of MY grandparents (It is an old neighborhood).)
Anyway, you really have to believe me that Martha gets all excited when she feels she has been given the go signal to go out.

I have a little secret to share with you - I love dancing. I love ballroom dancing. People might classify ballroom dancing as an oldies dance but I beg to disagree. Watch Dirty Dancing 2, or the movie of Jennifer Lopez and Richard Gere “Shall We Dance” - that is ballroom dancing! Unfortunately, as much as I love to ballroom dance, one thing that frustrates me is that you need to have a (good) dance partner when you do it. The male partner is the one controlling and guiding the dance, so you need someone good. And, chances are, when I find someone good enough to be my partner, he is either gay or too short for me. So I turn to Edil ;). Edil actually likes to dance, he is just “shy” and uncomfortable doing it. You would have to kill him to let him in a dance class. So we turn to dance instructional videos which we can watch at home. I like to browse the videos in DanceCrazy.com since they have great instructional videos with a range of dances Id like to learn. I’d first like to try out doing the Salsa!
Do you know dancing helps you lose weight? And did you know I danced a lot in concerts, plays and productions when I was a teenager? I was already a BIG eater, but I danced a lot - about 2 hours everyday. And it was really cardio dancing. Maybe I need to do that again.
