One Lifeline

We currently only have one way to connect to the internet where I work, through my laptop. Our desktop computer is still not repaired, almost six months after its motherboard died on us. So I am hanging on to our laptop for dear life. I pray that it won’t give me such a hard time even if I work it to the ground everyday. I remember back in December it’s DVD drive wouldn’t work, and I had to take it in for repair. It turns out my laptop, a Dell Inspiron 1525, had a bad virus and that the only way we can remove it is to have everything reformatted. The virus removal service cost a lot more than I thought it would, and at the beginning the company would only give me an estimate of what it would cost. There is a Portland computer repair company called pcmdinc that is upfront about all of their pricing costs. They provide virus removal and everything required with that for a fee of $149. For that fee they come to your house to do the virus repair. There is no charge for the house call unless you live outside their regular service area. They service the Portland Oregon metropolitan area and go as far north as Vancouver Washington. They will also provide virus removal by remote service where they take control of your computer over the internet and make all of the required fixes. This remote service costs less at $129. This company provides onsite and remote options for hourly repairs as well. This Portland pc repair services (PCMD, Inc) company also promises No Geek speak, which means they will explain things in a way that you understand and are available to answer your questions or schedule repairs 7 days a week from 8 AM to 7 PM. This Portland computer support company was founded in 2007 to provide "prompt, polite, and thorough service."
