I am fortunate that being in front of the computer more than 12 hours a day everyday for the last eight years haven’t given me poor eyesight (yet). Last year, I got the scare of my life when my eyes hurt a lot for almost two weeks and I saw glare spots in my vision. It usually is indicative of glaucoma. Since my grandfather had it and it’s genetic, I was scared. Good thing it was just good ol’ eyestrain and an optometrist friend gave me anti-eyestrain glasses for free. Now I use them especially when I anticipate long hours in front of the computer for work. I still have 20/20 vision! I hope it won’t change.
My youngest sister has the poorest eyesight among us siblings and she needs to wear eyeglasses all the time or else she is virtually blind. She wears contact lenses during formal events and when she goes out to parties though. My mom supplies her with disposable contact lenses all the time. Acuvue oasis is a brand they are familiar with. The stores where you can buy Acuvue oasis contacts and their prices can be viewed PriceContactLenses.com. I particularly like how I can choose which store to go to after seeing the prices which they retail them. They also cost out the average price per box in a store. It’s a great site to bookmark if you are looking for ways to save on lenses – you get to replace every few months so you need to get the best deal when it comes to pricing!
