Truck Engines

I am quite getting frustrated with the way things are going with our car. It really is due for maintenance this month – oil change, some fixes on the braking system, etc. We replaced its tires because they have become worn down already last weekend. It was a bit draining to the pocket but we needed to do it because it would be dangerous to travel with thin tires (if you have heard of the accident along the Skyway involving kids, you will know that one of its tires blew up that caused the tragic accident). We thought everything was fine when we saw that one of its tires was flat right before we were about to go to Mass. It took every ounce of patience and control not blow our top over one flat tire.

In the end we commuted to go to Mass (even if it was so hot outside) and treated the kids to McDonald’s afterwards (where we got the Shrek Happy Meal toys – it’s Martha’s favorites). Of course, we still cannot take the car’s problems off our minds – we are going to do some errands this week, such as buying supplies and stuff for school for the kids and considering we live in the mountains we need the car to travel. So Edil needs to have it fixed before we go out, which would potentially set us back a day! Truck Engines don’t give this kind of problem, do they? Maybe we should have a truck as our next vehicle! :)
