Martha’s Birthday

Martha has this insane belief that every birthday is her birthday. We went through two birthdays the past two months (mine and Edil’s) and during those times, she really believed that it was her birthday. She would have a fit if she would not be able to have and blow her birthday cake. Her birthday is on the first week of May, usually near or coinciding on Mother’s Day, that is why I dont get mother’s day gifts – everything gets to be about her. Now, all birthdays are about her too. As Matthew said, “Martha, sa dami ng birthdays mo, Ate na kita – 25 ka na!”
