Daddy’s Love

Matthew had a project in his Computer class where he needs to create a word art depicting members of his family. We were amused with how he described us:

Mommy – organized, responsible, disciplined.
Daddy – sweet, caring, thoughtful.

While I really cannot dispute to a certain degree about our role reversals, Im quite guilty about not being demonstrative enough with my kids. I’m all about culturing discipline and values that I fail to be a kid to my kids all the time.

Case in point:
Matthew (who doesnt need hgh supplement with the way he is growing!) has a school weaving project involing newspapers and while I was quite satisfied with what he did, Edil wasn’t. He didn’t sleep Saturday night weaving the project away. And Matthew told me he had the best project in class with what his Dad made.
