The shirt says it all.
Papa ko si Mang Bading.
Edil’s parents arrived from the US after staying there for more than a year to visit (and perhaps stay here longer).
Papa arrived on the day of his 66th birthday.
And we threw him a surprise birthday party at the Harbor View Bistro along Seaside Blvd in Mall of Asia (The spicy crispy pork and leche flan was to die for!).
And trademark to the Avisos, we all had matching shirts (I wish we had matching Naot shoes as well) that say:
”Papa ko (si mang) Bading.”
”Bading ang (pangalan ng) tatay ko.”
”Proud ako sa Lolo kong (si Mang) Bading”
**Salvador is Papa’s real name. During his time in Bicol, Bading was very popular until it became the slang for gay people. He is called Buddy in the US
The kids sang and danced and it was fun night. I personally can feel Edil was so happy that his parents are now home, he hugged Ma tight when they were dancing.

He told me once if he can only accomplish half of what his Papa has accomplished, he will die a very happy man. And I told him, if Matthew will say that about him in the future, his mission was already accomplished.

You must really be one big happy family… You have great shirts! I love the designs. I am a Filipino, too. I agree with you that Harbor View Bistro offers spicy crispy pork – I love that too.
