..has been fun, fulfilling, stressful but a great teacher. Why? I will cite two instances.

• Matthew had an assignment where he would draw “forgiveness”. He drew us together and he was saying “Sorry Mom” and I was saying “It’s OK Mato, just don’t do it again.” The catch? I was sitting in front of the computer. Really! Actually, he drew it pretty well. I need to take a picture of that soon.
• I wanted an excuse to take a break and I wanted to cuddle Martha while she was watching Lion King. I went to the sofa and snuggled and the brat goes, “Mooooom, no leeping, dun ka puter – work work work na you!”

So for the past week, since Edil is not here – I’m off the computer after lunch until after dinner while I just go back and forth while watching Darna, Rosalinda, Adik sa Yo and Survivor Palau. My backlog at work is growing – but I am learning how to handle my time well. I can now even afford to go out around 4PM to take pictures of the kids (and uhm..walk) hence I now have lots of pictures again.

I also have been trying to feed my mind by watching movies and reading Amazon books – I aim to watch a movie three to four times a week (but I am drawn to no-brainer, feel good movies lately, it is my way to destress after a long day) and finish a book within a week. Right now, I plan to read the Time Traveler’s Wife.

I almost want to say I am more productive when the husband is not around, but the kids miss him at night. Martha tells me every night, “Mom, where’s Daddy?”
