I have been Facebook-ing a lot lately. With that I have reconnected with three of my best buds from college. They are the only ones I have retained through the years and I consider them the friends I don’t see but are still near to me. I have been convincing them to hook up to the internet – get involved in Twitter, Flickr, get a blog (and read my blog) – but they need some more convincing.

They commented how I have a lot of friends now too, considering that I stay at home most of the time and only go out once or twice a month. I actually owe it to blogging – it has opened me to new possibilities for learning, money making and even real life friendships. It is amazing how us mommies found each other though blogs, started chatting over YM, went to Twitter, got Flickr accounts for private sharing of pictures and from there inched our way into each other’s lives. While my friends are amazed by this, some skeptical, and a few doubtful if these all lasts, I just savor the moment and am thankful for the lucky chance to meet real friends online.

So from marital woes and wows, kids, money making, saving and spending, travelling here and abroad (like booking the best Las Vegas hotels or which spots to see abroad), to politics, scandals, showbiz and more, yep, my daily grind will not complete without them.

Thanks a lot ladies!
