This week’s WifeSpeak’s Memoir Monday is all about commitment. It is funny that the symbolic representation of it in a marriage, the wedding rings, in our case, was lost 6 months into our marriage. I still get sad everytime I remember it – we haven’t replaced it but did the commitment waver?
No.
When we started planning our wedding, I knew I wanted to say my vows in Filipino. My most favorite wedding of all time was my Aunt and Uncle’s wedding, not because it was so nice, but because I never forgot their vows. It just was so eerie and peaceful at the same time.
Up to this day, whenever I’d want to throw something really hard to my husband’s face (we all go through that right), I always pray that I remember OUR vows to each other…

kinikilabutan ako sa vows nyo. ang ganda! mas maganda talaga pag tagalog kasi mas dama mo, mas malalim. nalungkot naman ako para sa inyo na nawala ang rings nyo. howell, di bale tama ka di naman kumupas or nawala ang commitment
