Before I go shop for some copper sinks for the kitchen, here are some updates from the birthday girl:

She turns three this Saturday!

She has been having a nasty cough for two weeks now and yesterday at around 5AM, she woke up crying. She coughed like crazy and threw up a lot of phlegm which got me worried. She settled down (maybe because she was spent throwing up) but at 6AM she told me her right ear hurt. Since I know it’s an ear infection because of colds, I told Edil we bring her to the ER so we can get meds.

It turns out the husband wanted to bring her to the same hospital that misdiagnosed my dengue fever, I was having second thoughts (Edil just wanted to bring Marts to a doctor). It was a good thing that the doctor in the ER was nice (and competent) and we only had to pay 150pesos! LOL. True-ly-ly! The meds she prescribed were expensive though, but I’m expecting it to perform really well as just 24 hours into antibiotics Martha is doing great and her coughing episodes has been zero.

But the mommy’s ears are hurting naman. Nakakainis!
