Three family friends were so lucky to be issues US visas last month. One of them even had the luck to be interviewed by a Filipino-speaking US Consul, it really helped ease his tension.

They flew last week so they can observe Holy Week with our organization in LA. One of them though booked her flight MLA-NY-LA-MLA, because she wanted to meet up with her brother whom she hasn’t seen for a long time. Plus her niece got married so she wanted to meet her nephew-in-law too.

If she would have more time, she would want to really explore New York and even go on a New York Bus Charter tour. They have package deals to Six Flags, and knowing her love for adventure, I am sure she would it there more than in Disneyworld! The bus charter can also help her visit relatives easily in the East Coast because they have routes to Philadelphia , PA,  New York , NY,  New Jersey, Boston , Massachusetts, Baltimore, Maryland ,  Washington DC.

I wonder when I will be able to go back to the US. Will it be for a visit the next time or a work opportunity? Friends have been telling me that the US Embassy are lenient these days because they need tourism to boost up the economy so maybe we should give it a try.

Who knows? For now, I will just keep on praying what would be our next step.
