Taken February 19th.

  • I murdered her bangs that day, as shown in the picture. It took me two night to fix it, while she was sleeping. It looks better now. Trust me.
  • She also has gained a lot of weight (knock on wood wag sana magkakasakit ulit). A 2kg can of milk she can use up in 8 days. She also has recovered her habit of eating solids.
  • She developed a bad habit of eating in front of the TV. The past week we turn the TV off during dinner so she will be forced to eat. It takes about 20 minutes of non stop crying, shouting and roaring before she quiets down and finishes her meal. Sayang kasi ung nakalakihan nya na kumakain na sa table sa talaga. And syempre, sino ba ang sinisisi ng ama kungdi ang ina debah :)
  • She now is a dog and a dinosaur. She loves watching Scamp (Lady and the Tramp 2), 101 Dalmatians (I try not to because sometimes she mimics Cruella) and Land before Time.
  • Oh my, her vocabulary is improving. Medyo bulol pa din but people understand her better. Her latest cute one-liners.

What? – She says that when you call her, she yells back, “What Ma? What?” and when you ask her to get something, “What?” pa din (dapat “Where?” hehehe)

“Oh yes!” – When she asks you to make salang the movie of her choice and it starts rolling, she shouts, “Oh yes!” and says her signature “Thank you Mama/ Thank you Dada”

“Oh my! You’re so pretty!” –oh yes, she says this too. Whenever I wear earrings and wear make-up – yes I wear them now too. She does this with matching gasp, put two hands on her face and looks at me like I’m really pretty!

“HOY!” – Unfortunately, she yells this too, especially at night when Im hard at work and she needs dede. Hello Mama Yaya, dede impronto!

  • Oh my gosh, dressing her up is a PAIN!! A pain in my big butt I tell you. She dresses herself every single day, even if it is not matching, I let her be para di lang ako mastress. Pero when we go out, I decide pa din and oh my Lord, she hates everything I put on her (hmmm ganito din ako nung bata), She reasons, “Mommy Im itchy, Mommy panget, Mommy it’s hot” and when that fails, she stage whispers, “Mommy, ayaw yan eh, galit Dada!” when her Dad hears her and negates what she said, she then covers up, “No, galit Lola!” then uses her Lolo naman. We always go out with her crying and shouting and Edil carrying her with NO SHOES into the car. Ganun sya katindi, pangit daw suot nya. Dont get me started on her shoes. Grabe.
  • She doesn’t swim on the palangga without a swimshoot. Yes you know the bathingshoot.
  • And when you ask her when is her birthday, she tells you “Mee nine”. Yes the same way she says, “Bulcayno” and “Dura” sometimes :) Hehehe.
  • We said goodbye to pampers last February. The only trace of babyhood in the house is milk bottles.
  • And we said hello to coloring books, crayons and numerous numerous animal stickers.
