I want to be an Elephant.

Matthew blurted out interesting facts about the elephant while we were eating at Jollibee last Sunday (we treated him out because he was an achiever at school once again and the teacher told Edil that he exceeded her expectations, naks. I was at the hospital taking care of the princess then).

Sabi nya:
”Mommy, alam mo ba elephants are highly intelligent animals? They have very good memory – that’s why they can be trained at the circus. Tapos sa cartoons diba alam nila kung saan nakatago ang mga apples kahit nasa basket at kahit na lumabas pa sila. And mommy, totoo talaga na elephants are protective katulad nung sa Dumbo, their mothers are very caring.”

You can count on my son to educate me on trivia stuff every now and then. (Once he told me stuff about spiders and spider traps. He was reading the Mammals book when he visited Martha at the hospital kasi.

And for Martha, “liliphants” are the best.

She even tries to copy Heffalump’s “roar” and the marching stance of the elephants in Jungle Book the movie.

No, she is not doing anything remotely sexy. She is arching her back, sticking her butt out and lifting her face – like the liliphant!
