Beginnings

Foreword: I remember my Physics class very well, it was the lone subject that damaged my academic career in high school :) After being booted out from the honor roll I fought hard to maintain since 2nd grade because I was two points shy from the required grade in Physics, I made sure to prove my teacher that she was wrong in not trusting me enough to give that measly two points.

The third law of Newton (about linear motion) came to mind when I was pondering about what has been happening to our family the past few weeks:

To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

I always hate January’s. (I am forced not to hate it because it’s Edil’s birthday). I classify the month of January as my recovery month from December and my springboard for February, my birthday month. It seems that I am always surrounded by haze every time January rolls in and although I want to always always be prepared to greet each new year armed with strong resolutions and solid goals, I always am taken by surprise that January is over.

imageTwenty days has passed since January came along and I’m still trying to recover from December. It doesn’t even help that for the second time in the same month each year, our family always experiences health problems. We got our first hospitalization this month, care of the little princess.

She is recovering now but her weight has really dropped and it would take supermom powers and the spoiling of SuperLolo and Lola to get her back to her plump siksik self.

And what is worse is that we were caught without an HMO this time around – so whatever extra money the internet has been good at giving me this year went to the hospital bills. Just when I had the application for it on our list of to-do’s this month.

Anyway,

To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

(Malakas an swerte ngayung taon. I just need to believe in it).

Aw! Aggie! That’s the spirit.

Let’s all stay positive. Ika nga, prayers move mountains. I hope Martha has recovered fantabulously too.
