SubscribeIf you haven’t been seeing me around, there is one place in cyberworld you will see me lately. I have been going and hanging out in Facebook a lot lately, mainly because I have reconnected with my ex-officemates and my relatives abroad. Even my favorite godmother who is in her 50’s is there! What I like about Facebook is that unlike Friendster, it is easier to interact with people – making it hard to snoop and stalk. Why snoop when I can write on the wall?
And for friends I have just rediscovered and writing on walls is not enough, there is their chat function. (Im not that comfortable doing it over YM yet). I have made peace, after 10 long years I think, with my high school best friend as well.
It gets better believe me – the network is unbelievable. I have discovered network and connections from acquaintances and unlike Friendster that I need to force the “connection”, I can just be connected to a certain degree. Most of my high school classmates are now abroad, one even working for a manhattan it consulting firm, and I can’t help but kick myself for not working and grabbing the bulls by its horns, as they say.
Oh well, I will try harder.

I agree.. Facebook really does rock. I have reconnected with SO many of highschool friends/acquaintenances, it’s unbelievable.
