TGIF

Well the first complete week of 2009 was busy busy busy!! I actually have not accomplished everything I have written in my planner but I was shooting for the moon when I listed all my to-do errands. So I would like to think I’m still good. I need to allow myself some “do-nothing” / “do-whatever-you-want” time everyday. When my schedule is crammed, I tend to get pressured and procastinate even more.

I also broke a goal I gave myself this year – to not buy anything online anymore. But it was on sale (45%) and it would make our Operation Santa this year completely believable. I will not link you up anymore as I might just enable you :P OK, a clue: Pottery Barn :D It is going to stay in the US up until the time when I’m going to be ready with Christmas shopping (which would be September October God-willing). One needs to prepare! I read in one of the blogs I subscribed to that she sets aside 30-50$ a month for Christmas season starting January. That way come September when all the sales come in, she doesn’t go broke. That is on top of the savings she sets aside that does not get touched. It’s really a great idea I hope I can copy.

I have been looking a lot online though at designs for the house and some (surprise surprise) make-up and fashion items I’m beginning to show interest in. If you are like me who reads forecasts for the new year like the bible, you would know the color trends and fashion forecasts this year. Accessories will still make or break an outfit. The essential items will be spruced up. Watch Straps will be daring and all the more interchangeable. I actually look forward to that one – I have one handy classic timepiece I dont want to give up and interchanging straps to make it look like as if I have a new one is going to be awesome!

Now okay lang i-enable mo ako ako, I want things from Pottery Barn Aggie. Kaso mahal pero if they have sale on September, siguro susundin ko ang advice mo to set aside 30 a month. Usap tayo. I want things there too!
