(Notice I cant stop talking about it – two posts in a row!)
I have been thinking it’s time to let the idea of Santa die down. Matthew is turning eight and believe Santa is FOR REAL that I fear he might be teased when he tells his age group buddies what Santa got for him. What I want to tell him about though is the spirit of Santa – and how it is better for them to give than to receive this season. That would mean Martha would grow up not believing in Santa, but we can always talk to Matthew to keep it “real” for his little sister for a few years.
Speaking of Santa’s gifts, I think we have everything covered. Matthew will get around 5 out of his 20 wish lists (some of them were completely ridiculous) and Martha will get 5 out of the 20 things Matthew wrote for her
. Martha is a simple girl, give her anything Dora and anything about cooking or make-up and see her face light up.
If you give here these, it would better though!
The ones you see are Dora and Cinderella toys (she is most crazy about that Disney Princess). All of these are MEGA brand toys which I even had when I was a kid (Matthew even got them as presents before and they are the only toys that remained 8 years later). Consider getting the toys from MEGA brand before anything else.

How are you planning to tell him? I’m worried about that already, though my kids are still young… My husband talked me into this whole Santa thing (I didn’t grow up with it) and now I don’t know how I will ever get out of it…
