I have been putting off writing this for months now simply because I want to write one post for each of them. But what the heck, the months are passing by and before I know it, I have forgotten what they are doing right now.
Lemme see here are the latest from the kids:
Matthew
- He is graduated from playing Cabal and has a new interest: Age of Mythology. The catch here is the game is installed in my laptop so I need to make room for his playtime or else a tantrum will break loose.
- We had some major fights the past month lately resulting to me crying because of anger, frustration, disappointment and plain old inis. I realized Matthew knows he can get away with things with me because eventhough I scream a lot and even make palo, I change my mind often on certain rules and how I “punish” them (like I tell him no computer time for a week but he can get on the computer after my anger subsides). One major fight, I put my foot down and told him my punishment and so far he hasnt tested my limits yet. Here’s hoping. It hasnt even been two weeks already since I put my foot down
- I can now entrust to him certain chores in the house like fixing the bed and setting the table. I know – so late. My kids are spoiled with regards to domesticity. Matthew is like a snake when he comes home, he sheds clothes everywhere he goes.
- He is pleading for cable TV. If you are exposed to Dora and Barney ALL day, you would understand him. Im still hoping I can get the extra moolah.
- Some interesting story about school (Ive twitted about this already): Matthew came home one day telling me his principal told them not to go trick-or-treating. Para lang daw un sa mga hindi naniniwala sa Diyos. I was so livid! Matthew has a tendency (well, actually he is) to believe and follow blindly especially if a teacher has told them something. He was so torn because I told him Halloween had some demonic history but it doesnt mean if you celebrate it now it makes you one, as long as you dont do rituals, etc. End of story: Wala din kami nagawa. He told me he would go trick or treating next year though. Me pasok kasi sila ng Friday (hed rather go to school than go trick or treating – how sad no? LOL)
- I think I have mentioned in passing how Im suffering from insomnia the past 2 months already. During weekends I get courageous to sleep in because I know there would be no school. Matthew eats by himself and just wakes me up when it’s time for me to cook or if Martha wakes up na
- He still says I love you Mommy before he goes to sleep
- He never fails to say his graces before and after meals.
- He doesnt like to brush his teeth! Hahaha.
- One story: We went to the mall one time and he was asking too much stuff like books, toys etc. I snapped at him because I got irritated and told him, “Sige magtratrabaho na lang uli si Mommy, maiwan uli kayo sa yaya gusto mo?” he replied instantly, “Ayaw.” And he shut up after.
At least me konsuelo ang pagiging stay at home mom ko
I dont know if I can stay home by next year as I really want to study again. Haaaaay sana me mirakulong mangyari. LOL.
Martha coming up next.

Nakakatuwa ang kwento about Mato. Minsan ang hirap talaga to be firm ano? Pareho tayo, I have a tendency to really get pissed and just cry after. Si Margaux kasi super maldita na! Inaaway ako parati. hahaha!

Wow, you’re little boy is so sweet; imagine, he doesn’t want you to work again, he chose you over his desire to buy toys. Children unconsciously implied to us that our love to them as parents and spending time with each other are more important than any other things. They really prefer their own parents care than anyone else.
