I would need two entries for this activity-filled weekend. So much activity that I honestly am still so tired and believe or not I would love to sleep all night if I can. But like I said, it’s back to work so I might need to sacrifice and be a zombie for the next 48 hours.

October 18 – Saturday – Twitter Mommies’ EB Party

I will reserve stories and little anecdotes on this as soon as I can get more pictures from those who took shots that day. I didn’t bother even taking pictures as everyone had an SLR and there were much better photographers like me (like Abie’s husband Howell and Alpha).

To make it short though: We were on the road by 11AM and got home by 12MN. We spent around 7 hours driving to and fro. Totally worth it though. I’m thankful the husband didn’t complain (I took catnaps in the car).

October 19 – Sunday – BNP Feast Day

I missed the MBAP Party because we had a feast day yesterday. To make it simple: Christmas starts at October for us. We officially start the holiday season on October 23rd. Since it’s a weekday they decided to celebrate on the Sunday before the 23rd.

It was so H.O.T. But it was nice because I got to see my brother and sister again. And we even got treated to Starbucks.

One of the things that is worth remembering here is that Martha has discovered the joys of coffee,

She finished half of her dad’s mocha frap. I was just going to feed her the whipped cream (which she thinks is ice cream) but she got to sip the coffee and instantly liked it. We had to distract her so she would forget about the coffee or else she would not have slept that night. I guess it needs to be cream-based for one of us when we go to Starbucks again.

AND I have never eaten so much cake in my whole life. And drank that much Coke for that matter. At the feast day, there were around (I kid you not) 30 cakes. 30 delicious cakes.

I am actually on detox on Coke for today and until my tummy ache disappears – I have been going to the loo many times that I know I have overloaded on too much sugar.

Ever since October started we have been having parties left and right. Aside from August and December, October is my most favorite month of the year.

Next week we will be at another birthday Halloween party, this time at Edil’s house for her sister. Kainan na naman.
