…lets me witness all of what is going on with my kids. It’s very tiring, having little for yourself, sometimes feeling you are going nowhere, the lack of..shall we say? Identity? As I have always reminded myself, “It’s all about the kids now.”

But it also lets me witness this, and somehow teach them:

I take no credit for that because it is my parents who taught them the value of prayer. Im proud to say that Martha, at two, knows the graces around 60% already. Matthew reminds ME to pray the rosary at 6PM, has a rosary of his own, and has a very interesting curiosity about the bible. Matthew and Martha also knows how to sing the Marian songs.

(and yes, I fed them noodles one night – Im entitled to slack one day sometime? LOL)

Now I just need to make sure we have family health insurance even if I dont have work so I can relax and not worry when the kids get sick. I’m getting them those with whatever bonus (read: Christmas money) I get this Christmas. A cousin has found a nice deal which is very doable for us.

total rewarding diba :) … with regards to “lack of identity”, I feel the same way especially when I get the chance to chat and kamusta my previous colleagues and friends then I learn they’re all doing well in their career… ;) but well you’re right it’s all about the kids and family now…

That is so nice to see them learning the values Aggie :) Sabi nga sa Proverbs 6:22 “Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it”.

Nakakatuwa talaga si Matthew at talagang mabuting ehemplo for Martha.

Yes, it’s all about the kids now, for when they are happy, we are the happiest naman diba?

Have a very blessed weekend Aggie!

Great post – and the cutest of kids! It is a full time job, but teaching values early are so crucial. It will pay off big time in the future. Wish you well.
