It’s very tiring, having little for yourself, sometimes feeling you are going nowhere, the lack of..shall we say? Identity? As I have always reminded myself, “It’s all about the kids now.”
But it also lets me witness this, and somehow teach them:
I take no credit for that because it is my parents who taught them the value of prayer. Im proud to say that Martha, at two, knows the graces around 60% already. Matthew reminds ME to pray the rosary at 6PM, has a rosary of his own, and has a very interesting curiosity about the bible. Matthew and Martha also knows how to sing the Marian songs.
(and yes, I fed them noodles one night – Im entitled to slack one day sometime? LOL)
Now I just need to make sure we have family health insurance even if I dont have work so I can relax and not worry when the kids get sick. I’m getting them those with whatever bonus (read: Christmas money) I get this Christmas. A cousin has found a nice deal which is very doable for us.

… with regards to “lack of identity”, I feel the same way especially when I get the chance to chat and kamusta my previous colleagues and friends then I learn they’re all doing well in their career… 
but well you’re right it’s all about the kids and family now…
