Motherhood
Posted on Oct 01, 2008 under Mommy Musings |It seems that most of my friends are becoming mommies, or are on the way for the second time
I’m happy that they soon will understand and go through what it is like for me to take care of two kids – I just hope they don’t go through the painful realizations that come with having a second child. Less time for yourself, money is divided constantly by two. However, one’s love is always doubled. I was anxious and scared about getting pregnant again because I fear I won’t love the second one as much as the first – but it really isn’t going to be a problem because a mother’s love is boundless. It multiplies.
Pregnancy and parenting are two of the things I am so happy to have experienced at such an early age. I guess by the time I reach 50, hopefully I’ll also be a grandparent already! I think I have read every available book about it and visited and read all articles online. I really read and educated myself about breastfeeding because I was determined to breastfeed Martha even if I was working. I lasted 10 months and I’m so proud of that! I also looked up baby names for Martha because I wanted her second name to start with the letter B (Edil ended up with Blythe).
Now I’m reading all about toddlerhood – it sure is very different from what I remember with Matthew years ago.

I cannot blame you, if your afraid to have another baby. It’s nice to know that you lasted breastfeeding your daughter for 10 months.
