Archives for October, 2008

Because that would mean tomorrow is Friday already, and Edil will be home.

I got buried too much on something I put my heart into (a project I have for Christmas) and I realized I never did take a break. So I did.

It felt good.

GY2

This would have been my kids’ dad, if I had met him earlier and if he could just speak and understand English :)

Of course, Im way above my head to believe he can actually like me, pero still, libre naman mangarap hahahahahaha.

When I showed Martha the picture, I asked, “Who’s this?” She replied, “Daddy.”
O diba.

Watch for the whole layout tomorrow when the Digidares’ new challenge goes up :D

It was the first time ever since we moved here that Edil wasn’t home in a weekend. We were supposed to go to Manila but plan didn’t fall through so we decided to just stay home and Edil will try to make an extended leave for next weekend.

I was so lost, I am used to being busy during weekends but last weekend I didn’t know what to do with the kids. We don’t have money and there is no one to drive us to the mall so that is no option.

It was a good thing my parents are nearby. We are having a little pageant for our organization involving kids ages 7-10 years old and they had their pictorials, outing and practices last weekend. Mom told me to take pictures (we get to eat for free too) and the kids had a great time. Martha fit in and Matthew was a hit with the girls.

The kids went swimming. Click on the picture below for a more detailed story of what happened that day:
Ay ay ay Koya.

Sunday:
It was practice day for the kids. Matthew was such a hit with the ladies! So I got to babysit them (there were 8 of them), and one of them asked, “Ilan no po anak nyo? Sino po ung lalaki? What is his name? How old is he?” When I answered her questions, the ladies start giggling. Matthew being a nerd that he is, was so masungit and wasnt even game in smiling back at them. He told me, “Ayoko ng ganun Mommy.” He will be escorting them come pageant night.

Syempre, gwapo anak ko eh.

Martha was a trying hard lady. She was with the ladies all afternoon, even dancing with them. The choreographer even noticed she can follow instructions already. She was so behaved! I think Martha will be ready for school next year!

The kids with saling pusa.

What’s up with me?
I was so bored. Not even the net can entertain me. I plan to unearth my VCDs from my box and watch movies again. And read books.
I caught up with GY on the soompi forums though :D He is now an entertainment soldier so fans can see him. He had an autograph signing and even hosted a show. He is more tanned now but still hot. He looked good in a suit too.

Gosh, I talked about GY when I talked about me. Hahaha, pathetic. Bored talaga ako.

You can view more pictures, as always at my Flickr.

I’m off the computer for the rest of the day. Have a nice week!

Last Thursday, after Matthew went to school, I cleaned up Martha’s bottles and sterilized them. That was around 6:30AM. But since I was so sleep-deprived (Martha slept at 3AM), I decided to take a nap beside the girl, completely forgetting the sterilized bottles in the stove. In my dream, there was somebody trying to wake me up but I didn’t want to get up. I think I was half-awake for a good five minutes before I felt like somebody touched my feet. I woke up, got up and smelled something burning. I went outside, looked for neighbors who might be burning leaves, nothing. So I went back inside, opened my laptop and checked my e-mails. The burning smell was quite disturbing already since I smelled plastic too. I got up checked around and saw our stove. I completely forgot all about it!! Mind you, it was already 11AM!! Thank God we didn’t burn the house or else we would have been killed.

Thank you to our angels and thank you Ate.

Lesson of the Story: Make sure you drink coffee especially if you are a mom who is deprived of sleep. :)

Be safe everyone.

I’m laughing as I am typing this as I feel like last Saturday’s party was such a HUGE occasion (well it is, but even Martha’s birthday nor my Dad’s ever got close to leaving THREE posts in just one blog alone, LOL). I know most of you understand. We need work, we need posts or else the sh*r*ff will be mad. :)

Read more about the party at these blog posts (I’ll update this post as soon you have a new one, just leave a comment!):

I know I am still lacking on a few other blog updates. Please tell me if you have blogged about it. For now, I would need to compare pricing and effects of Tonalin and Orovo online.

Baby Name History

I actually had no preference as to what my babies’ name should be. Well, that is impartially incorrect. I always wanted them to have two names. And we always made sure one of the names would be a Christian name. We didn’t plan to have the kids’ names start with the initials M and B but after Matthew was born, it just kind of followed all of our kids would have the initials M and B as well. It was hard because baby names for girls starting with B were hard for me.

A little bit of history:

I have always wanted to have my son named Matthew. No special weird reason except that I fell in love with Matthew’ Farrell’s character in Judith McNaught’s book, Paradise.

Benedict, well because Edil chose it. He was supposed to be Matthew Allen (exactly like Matt in the book) but right after we saw Matthew when he came, Edil wanted Benedict.

According to Gurgle.com, here are the meanings of Matthew’s names:

Benedict

Description: Blessed

Matthew

Description: Gift of Jehovah. In the bible Mathew was one of the 12 apostles. He wrote the first gospel account of the life of Jesus.

Origin: Hebrew

Pregnancy details with the first baby had always been special. I even kept details of my Pregnancy week by week!

With the second baby it was somehow different. I was working full time and was just too tired. Finding her name was also difficult.
