Memory - RAM in computers.
Posted on Apr 03, 2008 under Geek Speak |So how has life been ever since I go G, my new laptop? It is heaven. The first week was adjustment, because I had to transfer files, install programs, figure out how to connect to the network, figure out how to connect to the internet, figure out how to connect to the NETWORK and INTERNET at the SAME time, and so on and so forth. Im still adjusting to the brightness of the screen, but everything else is OK. I will adapt. So the specs that came with it are really above average already. But one could never get satisified right?
Look at me for example. G already is running on 2GB RAM. I was chatting with an online scrap friend the other day and was telling her I wish Id bought three. If I had the money, Id even go for a 4GB RAM Memory Upgrade! Im talking here as if I design humongous, very cool graphic ads for a living. But my OS is Vista, and that alone runs on 1GB RAM already. Add to that Adobe C3 is on, with probably about 50+ layers of 300 dpi objects and papers, Firefox is running, Im downloading stuff, surfing and chatting over YM. 2GB RAM can go very quickly. But Dell RAM is not cheap. A Better Memory Deal can be found at MemoryDeal.net though. I wish Id found out about them sooner. Every Memory Deal module is the same quality grade that top OEMs like HP, IBM and Dell specify. It is the best place on online to get exact RAM for your computer memory upgrade. I need to bookmark the site just in case I miraculously earn extra this month so I can buy it!
