I dont know if you have heard of this but there was Defibrillator Lead Recall on Sprint Fidelis everyday. On October, 15, 2007, Medtronic Inc. announced it was recalling its Sprint Fidelis leads from the worldwide market due to a risk of fracture, which can potentially cause a defibrillator to either fail or deliver unnecessary shocks. The recall involves the following Medtronic defibrillation leads:
• Sprint Fidelis 6930
• Sprint Fidelis 6931
• Sprint Fidelis 6948
• Sprint Fidelis 6949

People who have defibrillators installed are strongly advised to consult with their doctor to check their model and serial number. If you dont suspect, it is still recommended you seek the advice of a lawyer to explore your legal options. Consultation is free. Patients can request a free legal consultation by completing the submission form on http://www.MedtronicLegalAction.com or by calling Mark & Associates, P.C. at 1-866-9-MEDTRONIC (1-866-963-3876).
