I have been using a digital camera since 2005. That’s worth two years of digital pictures. Im also one of the people who never seem to be able to print their digital pictures - they all sit in the hard drive of my computer, backed up to DVDs when they reach 4GBs. I know they way I do it now isnt really foolproof. I lost a month of pictures on May 2006 - the month my second child was born. So there will be no newborn baby pictures of her. I still get very sad whenever I think about it. So I need a third option. Doing it online by making a digital photo album makes me wary because let’s face it, anything and everything can be found on the web. However, I heard of Hide Photos. They are a site that lets you have a digital photo album and have it under a password. Think of it as a photo safe for your photos that you really dont want anyone to see. They have a photo encryption software that will let you set a password for albums or even a whole drive on your computer.
