Archives for February, 2008

I demanded that Alpha tag me, so here is mine :) :

Totally random.
As of today, 3PM, the most unimportant things about me are:

1. I listen to songs on multi-ever-repeat. If I like a certain song, I can listen to it ALL day. Right now, it’s alternating between The Wannadies’ “You and Me Song” and Beyonce’s “Me, Myself and I”. (Di ko alam bakit, I just like it!)

2. I have a very hearty trademark laugh. So trademark that when you hear it, you will instantly know it’s mine. So trademark Matthew even commented it needs to belongs in a cartoon. Bwahahahaha.

3. I think Im in between jologs, palengkera and sosy. I can be very jologs but can be sosy when it calls for it. Does that make me TH? I dont think so. I can blend. Yes, that’s the term I think.

4. Much as l like to post about things I shopped for or would want or drool about, outside the blog and the internet, I hate malls. As in hate them to death. Im your worst mall companion I swear. Id rather eat out. Yes. I make a very good eating companion. Im very madaldal in that way. Ask anyone I get to have the chance to EB with. There was one that lasted six hours. Hahahaha.

5. I dream a lot. Call me psychic. But when I dream it almost always come true. It just sucks I forget them 90% of the time. I think it’s a gift.

6. As much I want to claim Im independent, I am very dependent on my parents’ influence and advice to decide anything. Im always a little girl at heart I think.

Tagging Joy (para magblog na sya), Apple, Glo, Jacq and Litzie.

Ang Cute ng Asawa Ko Eh.

Hahahahahahahahaha.

I think I got your attention with that title.

(And havent you noticed Im on a blogging mood today?! :) Finished work early!)

So I blogged earlier about having a new phone right?

So I slept early last night with instructions to Edil to prettify my phone. I woke up at 4:30AM to have my internet time before I prepared Matthew for school.

The phone was at the computer and I checked to see if Edil did his work ;) . It got the pretty Martha picture on it and some more pictures when you press some buttons (Di talaga ako marunong sa cellies, sorry).

So I was checking emails.

And then the phone rings. Heehee.
My ring tone was one I blogged about :D
Edil rang up my phone so I can hear (and know) what he did.

And that wasnt enough.

He texted.
And then the phone rings. Heehee.
So I knew what he did.

And he texted:
Saranghaeyo.

*Swoon.*

And you know, Edil really isnt the husband you get to depend on for the big stuff. He didnt give me ANYTHING for Valentine’s nor for my BIRTHDAY, but he does these little things. Which husband supports his wife’s lust obsession with another man diba? LOL.

And for a woman like me who is self-empowered (read: I am Wo-MAN, hear me roar), I have to admit giving me stuff is hard. I am pretty much very hard to please if you give me stuff (call me materialistic, pero if you are going to give, give na the best diba? I dont like small stuff!) So he does these things.

He doesnt complain if I dont wash the dishes overnight, or I dont do the laundry, or if I do takeout seven days a week. He doesnt care if Im mean with my jokes but get pikon easily. He doesnt even complain when I tell him we need to watch Coffee Prince before we go to sleep. In fact, he knows exactly when to turn his head to me, to catch me tearing up or rolling my eyes in kilig-dom. He says, “Oo, sinabi mo na yan dati” when I always say, “Alam mo ba Thart si ganito si ganyan smoker?” Bwahahaha.

Most of all, he gives in. Im really a bossy woman. Edil is the boss of the family, but I call the shots, honestly. And Im happy to realize it is a non-issue for him already. Dati, super issue yan but now, he knows Im just naturally like this but it doesnt mean I dont value his position in the household.

So I may not have the usual prince charming but Ive got the perfect man to suit my imperfect self.

And Im writing this so that I wont get jirita when I come home and see a butt of cigarettes on the computer table again! (We dont allow smoking in the house and the man sneaks when Im not there). Hehehe.

Sure, he drives me crazy all the time.
But my point is, I drive him crazy too.
And he doesnt talk as much as me.
Bwahahaha.

Moving

It’s so unreal that we are really moving houses this month. Truth be told, I havent really done anything to prepare for the move, physically speaking. We need to buy boxes and really have a garage sale soon. Thinking about it makes me anxious already. Good thing there are moving companies like Service Network. It has announced its quick and easy moving company matching system. Service Network has set up a network of moving companies that go through a strict application process to ensure a quality moving company. All of their movers in the network have to be licensed and insured. They must meet a number of qualifying factors in order to be accepted into their network. Their moving process is set up to assist individuals and families to not only select a reputable mover, but to also have some assurance that they will have a smooth move.

I Still Have Kids.

Dont worry, I still have kids :)

Im just too lazy to upload their latest pictures.

E ano ang post about them without it right?

Unlimited.

Since Edil’s company issued them SUN phones, we decided to get for the two of us as well (so we can give one for Matthew), since we dont have a landline anymore and we anticipate more calls when we move, definitely.

So my trusty (old, phased out) Nokia 1110i will be my back up for my existing number (I love that too much to let it go. Besides, the SUN phone is for SUN users din para tipid). My SUN number is unique too, since the network is still growing, you get to choose the number you want din!

I wanted to have the Samsung E250 but Edil was making pa-cute na sa kanya na lang daw un, so fine. Im sure the slide feature will not be lost on Martha and it will be broken anyways. Plus di talaga ako mahilig sa cellphones. (I reasoned I have the laptop anyways so kanya na yun mwehehehe).

So I got the Nokia2630 in black. I like the sleek design, the radio, the camera is so-so. But at least there are themes! Guess what my theme is?! Heehee.

Nah.
Martha is my wallie but White Love Story is my ring tone and the La La La Love is my message alert :)

Im still compiling pictures of Gong Yoo for my GIF kasi.
(Pinapagawa ko lang lahat yan ke Edil, di ako marunong sa ganyan eh!)

Hindi na jologs cellphone ko :)
Hahahaha!
I think Glo would be so happy to hear that!

LoversPlanet

They say that Russian women make the most beautiful brides as they are one of the most beautiful women in the world. The question is, where do you find them? LoversPlanet is a Ukraine dating service website where you can find Russian or Ukraine women. This is a legit dating service. They dont act as a middleman translator between you and your Russian bride. All communication is direct. These “traditional” Russian dating agencies often leave you ill-prepared for a lifelong relationship. LoversPlanet women all have at least a basic understanding of English, so you are able to work together to communicate and get to know one another without experiencing any unpleasant surprises down the line. LoversPlanet markets directly to Russia and Ukraine women so your experience is direct with women from cities like Kiev, Moscow, and St. Petersburg. They really encourage you to get to know your woman, speak to her on the phone as much as possible. With Skype, calls are easier and faster.

G Explained.

I was literally laughing from Jen’s comment on this post. So Litzie asked me to explain about it in a different post. So here I am.

Borrowing from this post:

And this year, she gets Gloria (Yes Mare, she will have your name – I will call her
“G” for short. She will be my lakwatsera since I wont be going anywhere as we will be living simply when I stop working, o diba? Connect lahat!). I hope I wont get Gloria when she’s five years old already though, hahahaha!!!!! (I think that’s the main material goal for me this year).

So here she is:
Dell Inspiron 1525

It’s a Dell Inspiron 1525.

Here are its specs:
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T5450 (1.66GHz/667Mhz FSB/2MB cache)
Vista
2GB RAM
120GB HD
CD / DVD Writer (DVD+/-RW Drive)
15.4 Anti glare screen
Webcam, bluetooth, LAN
Intel® 3945 802.11a/g Mini-card
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100
Integrated Sound Blaster Audigy

Not that much but I think she will keep me happy for a looong time :)

Highlight of the week:
(Yes, even if it’s only Thursday!)
Finally ordering G! It’s my biggest splurge to date (after my SLR) and I cant help but feel guilty – we might make use of the money in some other things, you know. However, as a friend nicely puts it, I have been working my a** off for a year now and it’s about time I get this. OK. So with closed eyes the purchase was made.

Im excited! G is bi. G can be a she when Im a good friend and G can be who-else-but when Im all hot and heavy for GY! Bwahahaha. Edil let me have his picture on his Vidal Sassoon endorsement as our desktop :D .

Lowdown for this Week:
Well, if you can see it in a way that I cant eat and still need to go to the restroom 10 times a day so I can lose weight, fine. But the cramping is killing me. Damn virus.
Edil is hot (not hot-hot, LOL) with fever since the other day too.

Im sorry pero we need summer already!
