(I want this post to be sort of a prediction for my family in 2008, I think it will be a riot to read this next year to see if it will come true!).

For us:
Fearless Forecast:
We will move out to be on our own in a rented place, with bare necessities at firstwe moved out on our own April 15. Me and Edil will learn how to finally budget our money (!!!), and be great parents and friends to our children. Our children will thrive this year, in all aspects, most especially health-wise.

I also fearlessly say we won’t be missing going to Mass this year, including all religious holidays (This is not a forecast but a goal me and Edil have talked about). We also would be going back to vigil (silent prayer in an adoration chapel) and teaching the kids how to pray the Rosary.

This will be our Exodus Year. (flee from captivity).

For Edil:
Either he gets a car from his current job OR he quits altogether and finds work in his line of specialty (Mech. Engineering). Or we manage a business regarding chickens and rice (bigas) in the province (hey, it pays big!).

He also gets back his Ooh-la-la form this year ;) .

And dare I hope/forecast – QUIT smoking?!

For Aggie:
She loses weight BIG time this year. This year will be THE year (after seven years, LOL). It’s do or die (diba Amore?! LOL).

She continues to have online opportunities that can support her family. She learns how to SAVE. She puts up a small business for them to survive without her having to work.

Because this year is NCLEX year (I think I get palpitations everytime I think about it) – quit working by March ~April 30, start reviewing, taking out aging-covered-with-dust nursing books and buy colored pens again. Do or die.

And this year, she gets Gloria (Yes Mare, she will have your name – I will call her
“G” for short. She will be my lakwatsera since I wont be going anywhere as we will be living simply when I stop working, o diba? Connect lahat!). I hope I wont get Gloria when she’s five years old already though, hahahaha!!!!! (I think that’s the main material goal for me this year).

Edited: 02.29.08 I got Gloria already!

Matthew and Martha:
Mato will stay on top of the class, quit being too picky with eating, control his sinusitis and adjust to living in the province. He also will have more tooth losses so we can finally start fixing his darn fugly teeth. (Our dentist advised us to wait – he needs to finish the Ugly Duckling stage daw talaga).

Martha will be treated for Primary Complex ~ done treatment July 10! and be cleared of having asthma — yeheeey! The pedia told me that once she is treated for PC she might get rid of asthma as well as Martha has been thriving lately with absolutely no signs of allergies. (Sana please Lord!!!!!) She will also start to talk fluently and get rid of her nasty chot chot ~ as of May 1!. And she will grow up just like me, hahahaha (Kelangan ko talaga isama yun eh!).

So there. You can say these are my goals, hopes, aspirations, resolutions, etc etc etc. I just want to consider them DONE (feeling kaya ng power of positive thinking! LOL).

With the Lord in your family, nothing can go wrong! I love the thing about you and Edil praying together and teaching the kids, the rosary. I love knowing a family so in touch with God, with our materialistic world kasi minsan nakakalimutan na yan ng ibang families eh.

Good luck and God bless your family! :)
