The Hunt for the Perfect Notebook.

OK, total notebook, OC, organized (or trying to get organized like me! LOL) mommies (and wives or women if you are still single!), hook me up with the nicest notebook, planner, etc etc you can find! I NEED it for 2008! Yes, I NEED it. BAD. Too bad that Im planning what Im getting two months before 2008 really starts. Yes, Im drama like that, hahaha! (I know someone who is much worse! ROFL! Missing a train for a notebook?! WT* right?! LOL).

So what do you think?

The Moleskin?

Moleskin Pocket Plain Notebook

Or The Mommy Datebook?

Fuchsia Shantung Academic Mom Agenda

My requirements are pretty simple: It needs not to be so large, because I want it to fit in almost all my bags, not too thick. Not too bulky. LINED please. With Calendar. Cute of course ;) . Any suggestions?

Worried.

*sigh*
I am just about done doing the laundry and folding clothes. (I hate folding clothes. Id rather much do the laundry (using the washing machine of course!). The kids might be home tomorrow, a day sooner that I expected. My mom called worried saying she thinks Martha is on the verge of an asthma attack. It worried me to death and they wanted me to decide if I should let them go for the city or wait until the morning. Of course, I was frazzled and told them to be the ones to decide…I havent seen or heard Martha’s wheezing yet (well, my Dad’s a doctor!!!). I was just irritated because they want to me to decide when I cant even gauge the situation accurately. So Im cleaning like mad because I dont want my kids to go home to dirty house. I was cleaning our room and made a mental note to myself to go buy a table lamp this payday. I would want to read more when the kids go to sleep instead of watching TV.

I'm Back

..and what weekend with the kids do not have pictures with it? Edil was there so I had pictures of the kids too, but there were only a few as the princess unfortunately caught a cold — please pray that she will get well enough for Trick or Treat this Wednesday. At the rate she is going, Im afraid we will go the hospital instead of the mall.

Oh well, I will leave you with this charming smile before the colds began…

See you later, I’ve got so many assignments to do!

Kauai, Hawaii

This picture, the one with the turtle, is just a normal sighting at Baby Beach, Hawaii. Based on a Kauai Travel Blog I’ve read, there is a cresent-shaped, white-sand beach in Hawaii, specifically the Kauai area called the Baby Beach. This is the reason why Kauai vacation rentals are a big hit.

What to Do in Kauai? Naturally, I was drawn to the beach. Even though I love the seaside, having too many people at beaches turns me off. The Baby Beach seems like a semi-private beach. Imagine my delighted surprise to find out that there are bungalow rentals just a few steps from the shore?! Can you just say dream vacation come true? It is called Baby Beach Bungalow, aptly so. It has a fully furnished kitchen, bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a very nice lanai and and, most importantly, HIGH SPEED INTERNET! It is only a block away from the beach, and you can see the beach from all rooms in the house. It can accommodate up to six people, so maybe if the kids are old enough,we can take them too :) .

Stealing a Moment.

OK, reporting to you live from Amadeo! :) The princess just napped and Matthew is busy playing with Pokemon with Edil (Oh! Bliss) so I can steal some time writing some assignments. I can also check scrap and CT forums, however I need to disable the popup blocker here, my Dad still is not using Firefox and IE suspects every window to pop out as a virus! Ugh! I better start teaching my Dad how to use the Yahoo Messenger chat too, it would save us a whole lot of money!

Off to Amadeo

Edil is coming with me this time so I can just “relax”.
See you there!

Jack of All Trades

My Dad jokingly once told me he is a Jack of All Trades but a Master of None. He can tinker with mechanical, electrical and even plumbing tools (even Ingersoll Rand air tools) but cannot finish them without help in the process. He knows the basics but has no “specialty” as he claims.

What would you rather be? A Jack of All Trades or a Master of One?
